Vitali is the best Heavyweight the World, not Wladimir. I get the impression that most people viewed Wlad as the best Heavyweight in the world but i always thought Vitali was a better fighter, he is not as skilled but he is just as effective and would have more possibility of matching up well against some of the past great Heavyweights.
Vitali lost to a past prime old fat Lennox Lewis in his prime. I think that says it all.
Arreola didn't do anything and nobody expected him to do anything so that wasn't really relevant.
As far as jabs go, yes Wlad has a great jab but it's not the greatest.
He was stopped on a cut when ahead on all the judges cards. He wasn't KTFO'd like Lewis was against Rahman and McCall, and took the fight on a few weeks notice. As far as Lewis being fat, old, and over the hill at 37. Don't think so.
Wlad does have the best HW jab I've ever seen.

Defo. VK is a beast.
What's funny about it? Lewis was KTFO'd twice by guys Vitaly would destroy. Okay, that cut above the eye. Lewis wouldn't give him a rematch, that says it all.
Wlad has the best jab I've seen on any HW, for speed and power, and his right hand is huge. But Vitaly has slightly better movement and his chin has never let him down. Arreola tested it a couple of time with shots that would have downed his previous opponents. I give the edge to Vitaly.

cosign. i like the klit bros but vitali is the better fighter imo
:lol1: that was funny!
But yeah he is better than Wlad imo.

I already thought that, Vitali is a much better fighter and would beat Wladimir. Vitali is the best Heavyweight in the world. He's as good as Lennox Lewis.

Mentioned many times on the boards, Vitali's missing competetive opposition. If he HAD a few great names to fight, he could become an ATG. Right now, he may face fair or mediocre fighters, but only a few good and no great one.
The only "active" ATG HW is Holyfield. Neither Vitali nor Holyfield would fight each other. If Holyfield was 10 years younger, I'd be rooting for the fight.

I think the Vitali should try and coax Wlad into fighting him because if Vitali did manage to beat him can you imagine what that would do for his credentials, he has struggled for years to gain respect from the American public because of the lack luster division, a win over Wlad might go some way to solidifying him.
Vitali does throw a lot more combos and different punches.
I wonder what would have happened if he never was out all that time. Like if Wlad would have taken over still. They would have had to fight by now.
Not as skilled?! WTF are you talking about Wlad only throws jabs and right hands. Vitali throws allot more different punches, he's the best of the two and deserves the tittle as the best HW in the world.
Well i meant to say was he is perceived as not as skilled as Wlad.

I think Wlad is the more solid fighter. Maybe even just because he's younger and hasn't been outta the game. I think Vitali would win if they fought though so I dunno what that really says haha.
They should just ****in fight. I think a lot fans, casual fans, and even not so much casual fans would watch it.
How great of a storyline is that. Two huge brothers facing each other for heavyweight supremecy. They would probably destroy each other because it would actually be some competition.
So would you go that far, calling Vitali Klitschko an over-achiever?
Nah because i think he is capable of doing more than he has but he has not has the opponents to establish how good he actually he is.
Thats basically all that holds Vitali back imo, if he were doing what he does with better technique he would be being hailed as something really special.
