B.Hop is the man!!!.....Floyd would give B.Hop more problems than he's admitting!! :lol1:.......Floyd is NOT a easy fight for noone!!.....his skill level is too high for any fighter in the world p4p!!!.....IMO Vernon Forrest was the only dude I could've seen beatin' Floyd......a healthy Vernon Forrest in his prime beats Floyd :boxing:
:lol1:
The former Middleweight Champion of the world, who's fought at Super Middle and Light-Heavyweight feels that he'll get a blown up 140lb fighter (Pacquiao) out in the late rounds..
Self-ownage.
obviously he's talking about p4p.
People tend to forget that Floyd started in super featherweight. You judge him on fighting smaller men like Marquez and Hatton but you forget he fought a bigger Oscar and won that fight.
Oscar fought him close. And Bernard Hopkins dwarfs Oscar De La Hoya, who was much bigger than Floyd Mayweather. If anyone seriously thinks Floyd right now would beat Bernard Hopkins, who is a light heavyweight, you're seriously overestimating Floyd's weight class jumping abilities.
If you think Calzaghe beats a young Hopkins when he couldn't beat a senior citizen 10 punches a round version, then i do not know what to say.
Calzaghe always beats Hopkins.
As much as i would love to see Hopkins beat Floyd its really a fight that should never happen. It's an even bigger mismatch than Marquez vs Floyd. Hopkins would win easily too much size difference and style wise a counter puncher is not a good style to fight against Hopkins. He's too smart a fighter.
Fantasy Fight:
P4P if this were to be a fight, say Hopkins up to Tito but a 140 pound version of himself....vs. Floyd when he was at 140...I would take Floyd. To much speed, agility, and savy. Close fight, but Floyd gets the nod.
Here is a fantasy fight:
P4P: A 140 pound version of Tommy Hearns beats 140 pound FMJR

Was De La Hoya in his prime? Did Mayweather ever go forward in that fight? I rest my case.
The only thing Floyd can do better is shoulder roll. Please tell me one thing other than a better looking shoulder roll Floyd does? Who has more punches to their game?
Floyd has the best defense in boxing. The stats prove it.
Hopkins would beat Floyd if they were the same size. Real talk. Floyd can only fight going forward when he is up against smaller guys. B-Hop in his prime imposed his will on a solid man in Glen Johnson and we already knew he had good defense. That is the Hopkins that people should judge when they talk about a prime Hopkins.

LOL, BHOP would maul him for however long it lasted and when he lands more than 10 clean shots, if that, Floyd is sobbing in the corner with a fat lip and black eye.
Bernard does the same right and dip punch that Money does, except with a lot more power....he would not only have the reach, height, and power advantages but pretty close in speed.
pretty close in speed? wow.. people really hate on floyd.
if bernard would of fought calzaghe 10 years ago instead of pricing himslf out he would of been worn out by calzaghe 10 years ago

I wish B would've fought Roy 10 years ago. Most likely would've already had a trilogy by now.
Actually Hopkins never seemed tired ina fight ever besides the Calzaghe fight, and lets not forget he was 43 at the time. People seem not to look at Hopkisn age. i remeber watching his fight in 1999 against Robert Allen and his eam saying Hopkins was old, and that they were goign to try to tire him. That was 10 years ago. Also Floyd looked pretty damn tired aginst Castillo and Agustus.

Is Floyd whom was at 130 ish pounds in prime vs Hops in his 160ish prime really likely to have carried the same stength and speed?
Nard getting tired also seems like a get out clause. He doesn't get that majorly tired compared to some, and especially not a few years ago.
Post made little sense.
P4P, I think he has a good point. Both very good defensive fighters and it's just about the variables.

B-Hop needs to cut it out. Floyd would own him easy, way to fast and he doesnt get tired like Bernard

Well...Hopkins would win of course. He dwarfs Mayweather.
If they were the same weight though? My dude is dreaming if he thinks his old ass could keep up with a prime Mayweather. I mean Pavlik is one thing... Money May is quite another.
