I hope they never put him in the ring with a world class fighter to be honest it would be a massacre, and Duddy is brave.

Maklin is realllllllly good!! Moore is conditioned by Kerry Kays and Maklin is promoted by Hatton.. i can see a rivary going on.. Kerry Kays was in the corner with Macklin tonight too. What a cracking left hook it was. I thought the ref was right to stop it or he would of been down in the next set of punches anyways.

I like both Macklin's hook and his look. He's a definite to be included on any P4P list That deals with the dishyness of fighters. I've been saying for a while how dishy Macklin is. Still can't believe he beat Askainen so easily.

Asikainen doesn't know how to survive. He would have been stopped either way. Good performance by Macklin, unfortunately Asikainen didn't turn out to be much of a test for him. "I want a World title shot, I want Sturm" he is nowhere near ready, a couple more defences first.

what did you think of the stoppage? Amin did hold his hands up twice, he would have been stopped regardless moments later. I agree he would have been stopped but it was still premature and probably deprived Macklin of a highlight reel finish. It's a title fight, if he is up and ready you let him go.
