They are a ****in joke......
The best fighters in the world are Heavyweights......
So people saying floyd/pacman/anderson silva/gsp etc.... are the best fighters/boxers in the world need to shut the **** up....
:killyou:
also, there is excitability factor.
Right now HW is a snoozefest, sad to say. I'd rather watch top welters fight than a HW fight.
I'm guessing that, and the elephant in the room variable of $ draw of any particular fighter, contributes to this p4p business.

LMFAOOOOOOO!!!!:blowjob::blowjob:
boxing needs to get rid of the ''SUPER'' crap they have in every weight division (exp: super middleweight, super welterweight, super lightweight etc).
too many weight divisions.
Aren't they light welter and light middle??? Who the **** calls the super light and super welter?

It really doesn't mean much. Fighters like Fitzsimmons and Canzoneri were called the best pound for pound and Robinson helped make it more popular, but it shouldn't be taken so seriously.
I guess with all the numerous belts out there and debate over what a "real champion" is, P4P king became more meaningful in the eyes of the public.
Pound for pound lists are jokes... they dont mean anything.....
They get rid of the psychical advantages fighters have and just go on "if everybody weighed the same and had the same height" who would win..... shit is a joke it has no purpose...

Well that's an interesting perspective. But there is this thing called weight classes that messes it all up.
If boxing was just a free for all I would completely agree with your post.
