The Day the music Died..Requiem for a Welterweight..(Zelenoff)

Highly touted welterweight phenom Charlie Zelenoff(aka Vicious, Z-Money, Russian Pride) is leaving our beloved sport of boxing. I'm not sure how boxing will move forward if Dana White begins stealing our best talent. Judging from the ferocity of Zelenoff's flying spinning back-kicks, it's unlikely he'll be returning to the pugilistic arts anytime soon. What affects will this have on boxing? Will he fare better in the MMA? Is he just going to start boxing again in a month? I apologize to all those reading this thread who can't stand anymore Zelenoff or don't consider him boxing related. DAMN, Zelenoff with 4 onces gloves, he wont' get a licence. His ground and pound looks brutal, i wouldn't like to be that heavy bag. However, he avoided Stredge aka " the last man standing". We're finally going to find out what happens when a legit boxer takes his skills over to the MMA. Dana White's probably sh*tting his pants right now.

The most annoying thing is that The Ring is going to have to re-work their P4P rankings AGAIN now that Zelenoff is retiring. On a side note...has this guy never heard of a video editor? He doesn't add music to his videos, but plays them on a radio in the video lmao, raising and lowering the volume as he pleases. His work with the radio is very street.. Ring is out of control as of late. All Zelenoff will have to do to skip Cotto in the WW rankings is rematch and shutout Hartley. He'll jump right into the #3 spot.

Zelenoff in a way is like Zab Judah; they had great potential, but never had the mental make up to be a superstar. Perhaps his wide hayemakers make sense in MMA. I have a feeling he's gonna be pretty uspet when someone with decent wrestling/grappling skills tackles then cuddles him on the floor for 5 minutes.
