Ike Quartey was incredible. I'm a huge fan. That jab was a fvcking sledgehammer. One of the best, if not the best, in recent memory. He's been screwed so much. It's a shame. I personally believe he was the best out of him, De La Hoya and Trinidad, and I love Trinidad.

any news on Quartey? I heard last year he was planning to move back to 147 but that was a while ago so is Ike officially retired? You can be pretty sure he's retired altough there was talk of him coming back. Won't happen. But he has had a great career regardless.

Quartey was a hell of a fighter. I thought he deserved the nod against Forrest. He fought well against Winky too, Winky was just too big for him.

I admire most african guys for their work ethic and natural skills Quartey was one of the best specimens. Ghanians in general are solid athletes.
