For anyone who hasn't heard, Tecate is offering a mail in rebate for the Mayweather/Marquez PPV. The rebate offer can be found here:
http://cervezatecate.com/conditions.html
Now, the rebate form says:
"Save up to $25.00 by mail with purchase of Floyd Mayweather vs. Juan Manuel Marquez HBO® Pay-Per-View Fight on September 19, 2009 (pre-tax purchase price of $54.95) and one (1) Tecate® or Tecate® Light 12PK or larger (where required).
No beer purchase required in AL, AR, CT, HI, IN, KY, ME, MO, NY, NJ, NC, OK, UT, or WV"
I take that to mean that if you live in one of these states, you can just send in the rebate form with your cable/satellite bill and get $25 back? NO BEER PURCHASE REQUIRED? I know this sounds like a stupid question but it just seems kinda crazy to offer rebate with no strings attached.
I realize they are probably under some sort of legal restriction in some of these states but still obligated to offer it to residents, but wow... this is a pretty good deal if true.
