Absolutely. Hatton was always going to lose, he's not even bigger than Floyd and does nothing better than him where as Marquez is a very skilled fighter just smaller than Floyd. Marquez can only win if he counter punches though, I don't want to see him pressuring Mayweather, he needs to fight the fight he did against Pacquiao in the 2nd fight.

he has a better chance b/c he's a better fighter. on the flip side, marquez has a habit of getting hurt early in fights, so he may go to sleep earlier than hatton did.

I don't think so. I think Mayweather will be too fast for Marquez, pick his shots and then move out of the way for the whole fight to earn a decision. I think Hatton was better for Mayweather because he was constantly coming forward and attacking. That's not a fight Mayweather wanted. I don't think so, but after the fact it certainly looks like that. Going into the fight I favored Pacman but I gave Hatton a decent shot, I give JMM a shot for those reasons and the fact that he is a great fighter. I was giving Hatton like a 25-30% chance with JMM I am thinking something along the lines of 15-18% (in any fight of high calibur I almost never drop below 10% for anyone because so much crazy shit happeans in boxing).
