lol Cotto does not use shell defense. He just does some sort of crazy whenever he gets hit...lol
McCloskey was actually using it at times. I kinda like this guy. He's got balls.
A bit of an ancient thread bump, but I love the Philly shell when it is executed to the level Mayweather can. I'd say it's the most attractive defense.
I know it's flogging a dead horse but I'd love to see Pac trying to break it down. As for Khan calling him out, McCloskey was hard for him to hit, he would be punching, gloves, elbows and air all night against money. He needs to come out of hiding and come and show his skills off again.

well i mean hes not that effective with it as compared to a floyd or a james toney.. but he does use philly shell, he just doesnt shoulder roll but his defensive stance is still philly shell

i believe i've seen him go into it a few times while trying to slip by his opponent when he's against the ropes.
