In all of boxing history...if you could have been in attendance for a fight, what would you choose?
I'd have to go with Ali-Frazier I or Hagler-Hearns....maybe Bowe-Holyfield 2 and see Fan Man:lol1:
You?
thrilla in manila, rumble in the jungle, sanchez vs gomez, gomez vs pintor and leonard vs hagler, hearns vs hagler.... shiet the list got too long :boxing:
Harry Greb vs Gene Tunney I perhaps. John L. Sullivan vs Jake Kilrain, Peter Jackson vs Jim Corbett, fights that were never filmed.
I agree with the logic re fights that wern't filmed.
Its not as good as being there but not seeing some of these fights at all hurts.
Like the list too, would add Langford v Ketchell and Greb v Walker to it.

Thrilla in Manila
I was there! :nana:
It's the Tyson/Douglas fight for me, I could have made a killing and retire for the rest of my life!
I know, I know, I'm a bit shallow, but I bet you would do the same thing too if you had a Delorean that can go as fast as 88 miles per hour!:biggthump
personally i would enjoy seeing the fights that i just read about. I would love to see jeffries vs johnson just because i mean cmon fight of the century, black vs white, i mean cmon. louis vs schmeling would have been amazing. usa vs germany at yankee stadium, that would have been amazing. St Valentines day massacre, srr vs lamotta would have been something special. louis vs marciano, ali frazier, theres too many to name. but these are the fights i would have liked to see the most. I am not sure as to how exciting these fights were, but every one of them was not just a fight but an event.
You would throw some unique stuff at us:D
Aside from maybe Tunney vs Greb I, none of those fights were probably too exciting to watch, but I would like nothing more than to see some of these fighters with my own eyes. I've read all about those fights but never actually seen them which is a shame.
Atleast I can watch the tapes of all the recent great fights even if it doesn't quite capture the feeling of actually being there.
However if I wanted to see an entertaining fight, I'd go with what has been listed by others in this thread, maybe adding fights like the Rumble in the Jungle, Mike Tyson vs Buster Douglas, Joe Louis vs Billy Conn and Max Schmeling.
