...the medical community has already been aware of astounding efficacy for decades, and yet none of us has ever been told about it. Why? Maybe they think it's too controversial. Or maybe, more accurately, there wasn't any monetary reward for telling people what scientists know about one of the most extraordinary natural healing elements in the world.*

Contrary to popular perception, urine is not a by-product of the body's waste disposal system but of blood filtration. Nutrient-filled blood passes through the liver, where toxins are removed and excreted as solid waste. The purified blood then goes through another filtering process via the kidneys, where components for which the body has no immediate use are collected in a sterile, watery solution. For that reason, it is highly sterile, consisting of 95 per cent water and five per cent nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, proteins, antibodies and other beneficial ingredients.
Advocates of auto-urine therapy believe that this combination can help cure everything from the common cold to cancer, boosting energy levels and sexual performance along the way. While the practice has always been popular in China, India and South-east Asia, a small but growing band of Western fans are also downing a daily dose. Books with titles such as The Golden Fountain all extol the virtues of urine.

Urine therapy can be a very effective healing modality. Sometimes when all else fails, urine therapy will turn a person around. We will be covering some of the reasons why this may be so, and in that regard will lightly touch on homeopathy and isopathy. Both of these concepts are often discussed by holistic practitioners. You will get a deeper understanding of isopathy as it is touched on here if you take the Rot & Rust Tour in one of the educational sections of this website.

You insecure ******!
I worked as a OR Nurse for 15 years - You don't have to tell me anything about the morality of the Medical Profession. I don't need book\movies or any second-hand reference. I have first-hand experiences.
If you have a disease and or a high white blood-cell count because of some hidden condition - then it can be proven without a doubt that URINE does have toxins in it and it is dangerous to drink.
Again the FACTS: SHIT & PISS are waste products of the human body!!!!!
of course it does under that situation. Piss is a waste product...in the sense its stuff in your blood that isn't need by the body at the time. Urine is waste not "toxic waste". Feces on the other hand is.
i guess eating asshole is healthy as well
so whats going on!!??? marquez gatorade is his own piss??? i havnt seen any 24/7 episode yet... :lol1: what did I just miss?
man if you do research you will see that people in the medical profession are some of the biggest crooks and liars. You have to remember that the Medical Field is a business and they have to do things to keep greedy execs and drug companies rich. Go watch Sicko or read books on former doctors exposing the medical industry. Urine is not toxic...it is drained from blood and tissues and FILTERED through the kidneys. The only side effects known from it are skin rash, acne or sore throat. Just stating a few facts to shed light on some misconceptions mentioned in this thread.

Naturalist and Ancient practioners make claims of the benefit of drinking one's own urine. But the MEDICAL PROFESSION has yet to prove or disprove any benifits claimed from the practice.
What is backed by the Medical Profession is the FACT that urine is a waste product of the human body and should not be consumed.
People can dance around the Facts all they want, but in reality the human body is designed to pass\excrete waste products filtered from the blood and the food digested. If one wants to justify the drinking of urine - I'm certain that they will find a way to do it.
But the FACT remains that urine has only been sactioned as a way to get the body rehydrated under the most extreme ciscumstances - Where fresh clean drinking water is unavailable.
IMHO

FWIW I would never drink my own piss. I'm just posting this to show that its not something that is uncomming. It has been practice by ancient egyptians, Aztecs, hindus, chinese, Islam and even the bible references to urine therapy at Proverbs 5:15.
Again I would never do it..but this is not uncommon and/or heard of. This has been used for thousands of years.....so to each his own. Its just ignorant to knock someone else beliefs or practices.
Totally Agree with you - To each his own.
People in Australia treat River Rat as a delicacy - To me personally, its a rat and I don't eat rats.

I respect the fact that JMM wants to try and take every advantage he can to win and tat, and respect he doesn't wanna waste vitamins, protein and minerals and stuff... but you can get proper drinks for that instead, he can afford them too.
Plus, I aint sure whether it is really good for you, yeah it has vitamins and minerals and stuff... but it is the stuff that is getting flushed from your body, are you really telling me everything in that is good for you? I don't think so... there has gotta be something in it that isn't good.
Healing with Urine Therapy
Urine is not a dirty and toxic substance rejected by the body. Urine is a by-product of blood filtration, not waste filtration. Medically it is referred to as "plasma ultrafiltrate". It is a purified derivative of the blood itself, made by the kidneys--whose principal function is not excretion but regulation of all the elements and their concentrations in the blood. Urine can be compared to leftovers from a meal, and this metaphor may help us understand why our bodies excrete elements that are valuable to our health and well-being.
Nutrient-filled blood passes through the liver where toxins are removed to be excreted as solid waste. Eventually, this purified "clean" blood undergoes a filtering process in the kidneys, where excess water, salts, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, antibodies, urea, uric acid and other elements not usable at that time by the body are collected in the form of a purified, sterile, watery solution that is urine. The function of the kidneys is to keep the various elements in the blood balanced. The important elements in the blood are not filtered out because they are toxic and harmful to the body, but simply because the body does not need a particular concentration of an element at that specific point in time. It is this very regulating process of the kidneys that allows us to eat and drink more than our bodies need at any one time.
Urine is considered to be an invaluable source of nourishment and healing that perhaps has been too controversial or not financially rewarding enough for it to be talked about and encouraged as a potent medicine. One's own urine, a living food, contains elements that are specific to one's body alone. The body is constantly producing a huge variety of antibodies, hormones, enzymes and other natural chemicals to regulate and control its functions and combat imbalances that one may not be aware of. --
Clinical studies have proved that the thousands of critical body chemicals and nutrients that end up in urine reflect the individual body's functions. When re-utilised, these chemicals and nutrients act as natural vaccines, antibacterial, antiviral and anticarcinogenic agents as well as hormone balancers and allergy relievers. The information that urine contains therefore cannot be duplicated or derived from any other source. Just as nature produces no two people who are exactly the same, there are no two urine samples in the world that contain exactly the same components. more
"Don't take this therapy lightly. Multiple sclerosis, colitis, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, cancer, hepatitis, hyperactivity, pancreatic insufficiency, psoriasis, eczema, diabetes, herpes, mononucleosis, adrenal failure, allergies and so many other ailments have been relieved through use of this therapy. After you overcome your initial gag response (I know I had one), you will realize that something big is going on, and if you are searching for health, this is an area to investigate. There are numerous reports and double blind studies which go back to the turn of the century supporting the efficacy of using urine for health." Biomedx.com

good article..
still to risky to practice, so many things can affect the outcome with that kind of therapy.
that is probably the reason it doesnt get attention, because the risk is greater than the reward.
Haha. I haven't seen this yet, first I've heard about it. I have heard about the medical benefits of urine, but didn't know or expect Marquez to practice it. Whatever though, whatever keeps him ticking. :boxing:
For most people most of the time, one's own urine is not likely to be harmful. However, it is not likely to be healthful or useful except for those rare occasions when one is buried beneath a building or lost at sea for a week or two. In such situations drinking one's own urine might be the difference between life and death. As a daily tonic, there are much tastier ways to introduce healthful products into one's blood stream.

Drinking piss is fukin disgusting...end of story
I don't personally care about what it benefits or doesn't benefit...shit is nasty
I aint defending anyone who drinks piss...
And getting ur feet done aint very cool either...
Fair enough. And I am totally ignorant of this practice. I plan on staying so, too......
that wasn't a diss to you. I'm just saying that people on this site are ignorant. I would never get a blood transfusion but that doesn't mean I have to shit on the practice because it's something I'm not fond of.
