Jake La Motta. :P
This is probably intended as a joke but I myself have always thought that LaMotta actually had fairly good defense for a fighter of his style.
Aside from the late rounds against Ray Robinson when he was absolutely spent, you don't see LaMotta get hit all that much.
1) Niccolino Locche
2) Willie Pep
3) Pernell Whitaker
4) Floyd Mayweather Jr.
5) Joe Jersey Walcott
6) James Toney
7) Bernard Hopkins
8) Muhammad Ali
9) Winky Wright
10)Mike Tyson
Here's a video I made of the greatest defensive artists (or atleast a few of them):
Some of the boxers I included might not be what people consider a defensive artist but the highlight needed some variety...
Would all of you folks stop screaming Willie Pep and you never saw him. Lochhe looked pretty good but he is no Floyd or Whitaker. F**k the great white mystery Willie Pep.
There's YouTube wit clips from his fights...
What's wrong with Pep? He's a top 10 ATG...
Pep and Locche I hear were good but I aint seen much of them, Winky has a good defense and so did Whitaker, Floyd has a good defense too... I can't really say cause I haven't seen enough of Pep or Locche.
