How come there has never been a significant ASIAN champion?

Chinese are not allowed to box professionally..... Japanese and Koreans are not into boxing bigtime unlike karate, judo or taekwondo.... which made me wonder now.....how come there arent any Indian, Pakistani or Bangladeshi boxer champions? hmm..... That's not true anymore. Pro boxing in China is in its infancy though.

They are now, Dino Duva just signed a deal to work with the Chinese Boxing Federation to develop China's amateur boxers into pros. Just because they're small doesn't mean they can't fight.
