Yeah youre right, i mean, who needs weight divisions anyway! We all know donaire has more skill than valuev, so im sure he would put nikoli on his ass :nonono:
Size matters and weight divisions were created by Frank Warren to protect fighters like Amir Khan, so he can pretend that a Welterweight is really a lightweight and put him in against Blown up Super featherweights.
size is a factor in any boxing match. it isn't everything though
End of Thread...
As far as the Floyd-Marquez fight goes, Marquez is too small but I'm still givin Floyd some credit if he wins(especially if he dominates) being that Marquez is #2 P4P and was a champion at 135...although he is old
Marquez isn't the first person to jump two weightclasses...
Some of you will give Floyd little credit if he wins(fair enough) but will give Marquez FULL credit if he wins...that doesn't add up when Floyd hasn't been in the ring for 2 years...
The only thing that matters is weight. Tall and lanky, or short, and stout you better be able to bring it with your style. Mike Tyson, Tommy Hearns, and the fitness freak B-Hop will tell you how it is.
