I'm a mayweather fan, to be honest it seems people tune in to see him lose because he markets himself to be the bad guy. If he has any pay per view pull that's the major factor if he loses do u guys thing he would remain a boxing attraction?
Floyd's built himself on being Mr "0", so if he loses his "0" he's gotta do one hell of a job re-creating a different persona. People won't buy into his shtick anymore.
Reload this Page If mayweather losses, does he lose his Marketability?
If PBF loses to JMM, a lightweight, he loses all legacy and marketability. He becomes a class B fighter all of a sudden.
If Mayweather loses this fight, which I can't fathom, but if he did...I think a new persona will emerge. Out to prove a point. I think Marquez would be an immediate rematch and I don't think we'd hear him anymore talking about losses or PPV records...
i dont see Money losing this match but if the impossible happens.. then he for sure isnt gonna fight again.. like uncle bob said, his pshyce couldnt handle a loss.. he's afraid of a loss.. he'd be ****ed up in the head..
if mayweather loses to either marquez, or pacquiao after, his career is effectively over. he has made it that way with his disrespect of other opponents and putting so much emphasis on his protected undefeated record.

yes he would if he came back and fight cotto, marg, or mosley
i think that if he does lose he would need to come back guns blazing. no more trash talking and turning from the bad guy to the mean mother****er. floyd isn't going to lose next month/
