Boreson is a DISGRACE to the sport. He is being paid top dollar by HBO to fight 40 year old has beens because the yanks can't watch anyone that 'isn't a name'. If Froch manages to win the tournament there is no excuse for the fight not to happen. i'd like to see Joe comeback and beat the winner of the tourny whoever it is (and Dawson, buts thats another story for another thread) But i cant see him coming out of retiremment for anything. The funny thing is, had he have faced him he'd have been criticised for fighting another euro no name bum. Suddenly Froch just manages to beat Taylor and everyone suddenly thinks he's this solid all rounded elite fighter. Then Taylors suddenly shot for losing to him just, though not by some now in the run up to Abraham. Hopkins was shot, then not, Roy was totally shot, then not. Calzaghe beats all of these on points and it's almost just beyond debating now. yeah calz made a career out of facing these fighters that were eant to be euro bums didn't he? imo froch is a poor fighter who got lucky in being matched with a weight drained pascal and a easy to gas JT. imo the like of woodhall and reid could give him a boxing lesson so imagine would joe would do. besides why give a big mouthed prat like a froch a payday? why sign for a fight/opponent that doesn't motivate you?
