I gotta got with
Luis Ramos
12-0 (7 KOs)
He's a southpaw, he's fast as hell, hits hard, throws a lot of punches, and is a smart fighter. He definitely looks like a future champion to me.
Also Demetrius Andrade seems like a future champ too. I'm going to watch him fight live on September 4.
Huerta is actually gonna rematch him in September. lol Don't be too surprised if it's a completely different fight the second time around. That was kind of a fluke'ish fight.
They're really doing a rematch? Nice, yea I got Huerta in the rematch if it happens. Wilson just came out winging huge shots and he happened to connect with a monster shot. He was really leaving himself open. I don't think Huerta was prepared for that.
I am loving Matt Korobov. Can't wait to see him against some serious competition.
Dude looked great in all his fights I watch, knocking everybody out. Then I see him fight live on the Cotto-Clottey undercard and his performance wasn't very good at all and it went the distance. Needless to say I was disappointed. He's still a solid prospect though none the less.
I'm done hyping Jacons and Korobov, they looked dissapoiting in the last few outings and they weren't against stellar op.
I'm still high on Golovkin,Rigondeaux and Shumenov.Boytsov I like too.
Lamont Peterson.
Agree with you. As far as a pure boxer they don't come any better. He has descent power with the left hook to the body and is a very smart fighter. He probably won't win any excitement titles from the novice fans on here but the boxing purist type fans will appreciate him and he will win and hold the 140 lb title for quite some time.
I also really like two other kids that train in the same gym as Peterson and that is Fernando Guerrero at middleweight and Dominic Wade at super middleweight. Guerrero is an action packed fighter with power in both hands and is very athletic. Wade is just a beast. He is only 18 I think and only has 3 pro fights but the kid is a beast. He has devestating one punch power in either hand and great boxing skills. IMO Wade is the total package as long as he keeps his head on straight. If you haven't seen Wade you can see him along with Guerrero, Shawn Porter and Chazz Witherspoon this Saturday night on an internet feed PPV. Great card of up and comers.
british FW champion - martin lindsay 14 (6) - 0
british JWW champion - paul mccloskey 19 (9) - 0
Paul was due to fight for the euro title last month but had to pull out due to injury. he may have given up his british title in the process, im not sure
i have alot that i like and that i think have potential ..but even though hes only had two fights i would have to say guillermo rigondeaux has the most talent out of all the prospects i like..i mean he has the demeanor of a guy whos been a pro for years (probably the amateur experience) he has good power, good speed, and amazing timing skills..and seems to be really hard to hit.
