i don't think he did, but assuming you think he did, does it bother you that he lost? i dont mean on principle either, i mean you thinhk he deserved to win the fight you wanna see him advance get more big fights your mad for him personally, not that you think its bad for boxing when scores dont reflect fights
after that fight, i dont think anybody wants to see malignaggi fight again
the hbo announcers were acting like it was a good fight. i thought it was terrible. nexttime i cant fall asleep ill put that on
NOt at all if his hands are soft stop fighting, if you can't keep a guy off you all night who is a limited fighter stop fighting, if you act fight and present yourself like a fairy stop fighting. malgiIsitonbuttpugs can do just that. Juan did not win the fight niether did malgiIsitonbuttplugs either.
a fan who thinks malignaggi is garbage, isnt fun to watch, has no intention of ever engaging anybody. at least mayweather who i would consider a boxer has a lot of KO's and will beat the piss out of lesser fighters. i dont care to watch malignaggi like i dont care to watch zuri lawrence.

What real boxing fan wouldnt care??
I was actually thinking this similar thought last night. Usually, I don't like boxers who stick out their tongue or do funny shuffles during fights. Then again, I might not like the way Malignaggi carries himself in the ring sometimes, but I respect the skills he showed last night (plus, he did show heart against Cotto and he's OK when he does TV commentary).
It was a close fight. If you scored the fight 7-5 rounds for Paulie, then you know somebody could easily have it 6-6, a draw. Again, a close fight. Being a total asshole for a second, you could say that if Paulie knew he was gonna get "robbed," then he should have done just a little bit more. I know, that's unfair to a degree, but we know this a rough business.
Paulie complaining non-stop before and after might have helped him gain fans. First, he looks like he predicted the future and that's attractive to people. Second, he showed in the ring that he might have a "second wind" in his career. Third, he gets some form of sympathy from folks for being "short changed." In a way, he didn't totally lose. He can still get another high profile fight.
P.S. 118-110 is an embarrassing display of nuthuggery.
as far as the integrity of the sport, yea i care cuz it wrong. as for paulie and diaz, i dont care they are both finished as far as competing for a title. both guys wont win anymore big fights.
it doesnt even bother you that due to some biased judging paulie is gonna miss out on alot of oppurtunities, if they would of fought any where else paulie would be the winner.
just curious about your signature. When you say if Cotto doesn't ko Pacquiao he should be embarassed, is that just a excuse for Pac. If Pac were to lose you would just say well he wasn't suppose to be fighting at that weight. Its funny how you pacquiao fans have that double standard. I should say If pacquiao doesn't stop Cotto he should be embarrassed cause hes making him trim 2 more pounds.

Well if fighters who win fights don't get the decision its kind of bad for boxing. So yeah it should matter. Doesnt matter if you want to see Paulie get a big fight or not. If he won he should get the decision.

truthfully, It doesn't matter who won, because both are gatekeepers right now. both can grab belts but I don't see either as elite.
that said, robberies are a curse on boxing and its bad for the sport.
He isnt a draw at all. He is goign to have to fight in other guys hometowns like he said. He will have fight opportunities but not places he wants to fight.
At his hometown he only draws maybe a thousand people in ballrooms
And juan diaz is a draw. how about the put his fights outside of texas and see who goes to his fights. It does bother me though that paulie lost he put up a stellar performance and definetlybeat diaz there is no question.
The bottom line is,every time a fighter is robbed in boxing, mma gets another nod & more reason to sh&t on our sport,so yes I care!!I cared when Collazo was robbed,Cotto-Clottey should have at least been a draw, this is the reason why mma is taking over,u should care were supporting a corrupt sport!!Imagine if it was u training 3 grueling months only to have to fight against a whole state, how would u feel??:boxing:

He improved his name and marketability last night.
 your wrong dude paulie has now been stopped and lost his last fight he isn't gettting nothing from no one! Expect to see him on espn.
how can you not care about a bad decision like that im not a fan of paulie and i thought he was going to lose but he outboxed diaz and won a close dc. this is bad for the sport and if your a fan of boxing you should care
If you're a boxing fan, I think caring about the most basic of all things having to do a with a match, that bieng having the right mans hand raised in victory, ought to be important.

i don't understand how anyone can say that it was a terrible fight and put you to "sleep". i wouldn't mind seeing diaz or malignaggi again. the whole card was great.
yea but like paulie said, diaz can call people out now since he won. paulie has to wait and hopefully someone wants to fight him.
I care because thats what killing the sport of boxing. It's wrong to rob someone thats why we really never have a unified champ. It's plain wrong its morally wrong.
