Since the economy is a little tight right now and you guys are having doubts about buying the Mayweather-Marquez ppv, here's an alternative. You can watch it on a wide screen (HD) in your nearby local movie theaters for $16. The ticket is $15 + $1 for service charge. This will probably be like the closed circuit TV fights back in the days.

Closest one to me...20-25 min drive...fukk dat I'll look for a stream'
Idk how they couldn't have one in Manhattan...
that's not too terrible, im going about the same distance give or take for my theater, which is a mall also ... not too bad
IMO sure beats a stream
how many people actually doing this idea?
BUMP
wtf..... The theater showing the fight is a theater way the **** outside houston. Its like a 40 minute drive from Downtown. And that theater is in an all white neighborhood.
you've never been to deerbrook 24 in humble then. i was there earlier today in a movie and was the only white guy in the house...

good idea, they'll make a nice amount of cash off this.
with that said, i'd rather pay the $50 and watch it in the safety of my house. No way am I going to a crowded theater full of drunk/high/probably armed blacks and mexicans and risk getting shanked/shot.
Stay on the sidelines and enjoy the extra undercards! Don't forget to post it on youtube later btw! LMAO!!!

I'd rather pay $50 and have my beutiful family of 282638363629 mexicana at my house like always to make it jam packed and loud atmosphere. With some cold ones in fridge as we root for Marquez!
im so there man...
errr, wait, i can watch it online for free if im broke....
maybe i'll just order it
HBO has been cracking down on sites that are mirroring their ppv fights, you might end up missing the fight...
and by price comparison, don't close screened fights at Vegas cost in the neighborhood of $40 or more (I don't know off the top of my head, just number shooting)
regardless if you guys think $16 for basically what is closed screen of the fight is "pricey"
then what do you think about the Vegas prices for closed screen events
I believe it's $50 per head in Vegas, now that's pricey...
well at $50, I've always considered PPV to be some of the worst bang for your buck in the world of sports .. boxing in particular. Don't get me wrong boxing can have a good PPV undercard or too, but it isn't known for it.
definetely no price on comfort, I agree with that.
but I will absolutley never pay for PPV again (bought World Awaits)
and the ability to see a PPV card, at a movie theater for a reasonable price of $16, im at least willing to try it.
look at it like this compared to actually going to the event, or buying it on PPV
$16 is very much less of what you would pay for the other 2 bolded options.
i think i have hd and i can enjoy with my close friends while we fire up the grill and sip on gnac and sit where the fuk i wnt. there is no price on comfort.
it is a nice alternative though for those who cant or wont spend the 50.
watch it with 3 homo guys on a small tv at home or watch it in hd on a huuuuuuuuge screen with many other fans that will create a nice little atmosphere!
idk bout chu but i got a 50 inch wit surround sound
