Has anyone reminded you of salvador sanchez?at least a little.to me as far as style i would have to say jorge linares.of course not comparing careers but style. The only thing he doesn't have is the hop.but the style he throws his punches and moves his head he is the closest i can think of
Yeah, Nacho trained Lopez but Nacho didn't train Sanchez. I think Sanchez' trainer was a guy named Palacios, can't remember his first name.
Edit: It's Augustin Palacios, credit to google. :D
coo i knew nacho was with him but i didn't know sanchez is trainer.
You guys are right it has to be lopez. How the fuk did i miss this. I just asked my dad this question and he said finto. Lopez was probably more committed to his punches it seemed...silencers do you know who was salvadors trainer? wasnt nacho with finito?

Ricardo Lopez was probably the closest from Mexico.

yeah man, watch that one. You'll see that nelson was as good as conditioned as sanchez, both in great shape. That was early in azumah's career, would have loved to have seen a rematch. Great fight man.
word.azumah was so game.he didn't wanna go down at all.even when they stoped it he still wanted to keep going

you always have to fuk up every thread man, im not saying im a expert.my dad has a collection of his fights it's his all time favorite fighter. The reason i got into boxing was from stories i would hear from him about salvador
Jorge Linares fights with a similar style to Salvador Sanchez? Don't see it. Sanchez had a unique style, the way he rode with punches was awesome. It looked a lot like what Emanuel Augustus does, but at a higher level with better counters.
I KNOW WHAT U MEAN.THE WAY HE THROWS HIS UPPER CUT THATS ALMOST A HOOK.KIND OF HOW MARGACHEETO DOES? EXCEPT WITH THE SMOOTH STYLE:boxing:
IM NOT SAYING THE SAME EXACT STYLE. THERE'S NOT 1 FIGHTER THAT'S JUST LIKE HIM BUT THE CLOSEST TO ME IS LINARES MAYBE ITS JUST ME
as far as a pure technical fighter he was as good as anyone.he got hit with some bombs against gomez and it seemed like nothing happen.he was just a coo coo fighter.he had everything...chea i just finished watching the gomez fight...im in the middle of the zumah fight

i also view salvador sanchez as the greatest mexican fighter, as for anyone who fights smiliar to him, haven't seen any. He wasn't too much of your typical mexican fighter, he bounced around alot, didn't get tired, pretty much had 15 round stamina, moved his head alot and wen't to the body. What i found unique about sanchez was his calmness, he'd always keep his composure, wasn't about responding back after getting hit with a big shot. Man, i'm about to watch his fight against azumah, i'm in the mood.
