i never cared that he talked shit about calzaghe, joe is far worse himself. talking shit about hopkins after their fight but refusing a rematch, how big a bitch move is that? not to mention the way he taunted roy jones, imagine if william joppy taunted duran when they fought or if berbick taunted ali. joe doesnt have any class himself so i couldnt care less what froch say about him.
i liked froch ever since his fight with pascal, liked him even more after the taylor fight. hes everything boxing needs, he puts on great fights and hes willing to fight anyone. the sport needs more fighters like him, its unfortunate i dont think hes talented enough to stay at the top very long :(
Im glad his let go a bit myself....
Its the tourney and the Taylor win thats sidetracked him from talking about Joe all the time cuz his got things to look forward to in his career...
Damn that shit got on my nerves, now he's shut up a bit I'm starting to warm to him. Lets recap.
A year ago, I hated Froch and Pascal. I thought they were two loudmouths who were all talk.
Since then they backed up that talk with grit and excitement and are among my favorites. Froch's dissing of Calzaghe in particular had nothing to do with it.
I can see the most of the fighters in this tourny out pointing Froch...Kessler and AA being two them .....and whos to say taylor wont fight a better fight if they was to meet again ? ....i aint sold yet on froch .....hes to open to last lol
well i think hes stopped calling out calaghe because he has his hands full now with the super 6.
truthfully it does put me off when a fighter chases a bout or especially a rematch with such a lack of class; i didn't like th way JMM chased pacman for a third bout, or the way vitali/froch constantly called out lewis/calzaghe
Frochs stopped calling out JC, because the fighters froch are facing are a handful enough as it is and giving him all he needs to think about. Plus he has come to terms with JCs retirement and there are plenty of other fighters he can stalk.
Only reason he shut up is because he finally got into a big fight/contest. I kinda wish Joe would come back though man, he clearly still had it, even though I always thought Chad Dawson would eventually beat him.:boxing:
