Who will Cut First on NOV 14?

Based on Cotto's last fight, I believe that the cut that Cotto suffered will haunt him for the rest of his career. That was the type of cut that could reopen every fight thereafter. Both fighters cut but Manny hasn't suffered a severe cut like Cotto has. In addition, the cut below Cotto's lip often reopens. More devasting than cuts, I think the right hook could be a key in this fight. As Cotto works to land his left hook to the body, he'll be open for a right hook to the head. Demarcus Corely was able to land that punch at will in their fight. Good Observation

Probably Cotto.. remember..Cotto's got a 4in. cut still in the process of healing over his left eye..it was a pretty bad gash..so if a headbutt does happen..I'm sure that cut will open up quick!..we'll see what happens tho.. But like someone said..when Cotto cuts..he has a sense of urgency and gets more active in an intelligent manner..and gets precise with his shots..so that might be a blessing in disguise for someone like Cotto.. I think Cotto is going to cut first by a huge Pac left he is going to feel the sense of urgency then he is going to rip manny a new one I will say this... If Cotto gets hurt in this fight, that's when he'll present the biggest threat to Manny. Cotto fights back like a dog when he's hurt (most of the time) and he's bigger than Manny. If Manny becomes wreckless, there is a chance that he can run into a big shot from Miguel.

So, you deny the laws of physics? If two similar sized boxers have a head clash but one of them outweights the other by ten pounds, who do you think will take the bulge of the hit? There are many other intangibles that come into play in a professional prize fight. In boxing, when cuts are caused by headbutts, the size of the fighter has almost no significance.

I think Cotto will cut first. Only because he has more scar tissue on his face. Makes it alot easier to cut. I dont see a headbutt happening though, not one that will cause a cut at least. Especially with that recently healed scar... I hope there is not a cut from a butt, if there is however I see Cotto's face opening up as a result.
