The poll above is multi-choice. I was wondering what the majority of people think about the Klitschko brothers as boxers as well as their approach to the contractual process. The contract provided to Haye (and maybe Arreola too?) included the provision that if Haye beat one of the brothers he may have to fight the other brother. This is a highly unconventional provision at the top level of the sport.
Sure, a small-time local promoter might suggest something similar (if you beat this fighter, then you have to fight another fighter from my stable) but for a heavyweight title fight to include these contractual provisions is an unnecessary and unfair request in my opinion. This is not a small-time local boxing show, this is the heavyweight title of the world.
Wladimir Klitschko is often slated as being a boring fighter, something that the heavyweight champion of the world should not be because he is effectively the representative iconic figure of world boxing. On the other hand, in his prime, Vitali was a very entertaining boxer and many people view him much more favorably as a heavyweight champion.
So what I'm wondering is the extent to which people see the Klitsckos as either a negative or positive force in world boxing and why?
the klitschko brothers are "too" smart boxers, that's why they fight so boring, they just waiting for the best moment to shoot a punch --> very boring, the fight klitschko vs. valuev would be probably the most boring fight in the boxing history^^
More boring than Tyson-Smith or Ruiz vs. anybody?

To be fair though, I aint a fan of the Klitschko's by the way but I still see nothing wrong with that... you shouldn't fight at a style you feel uncomfortable with just for the sake of it, Boxing is a sport with tactics... you use what you have to your advantage to win... Boxing fans should appreciate that.

There not bad for Boxing, enough of this shit... the HW division aint as full of talent as it has been in previous eras that's fair enough we all understand that... but this doesn't mean the Klitschko's are to blame, they keep beating the #1 challengers and in good fashion, they are only dominating there division in there era and beating everyone who is put in front of them, nobody can blame them for that... they are just doing what any other sports star do but they are getting blamed cause the division isn't as talented as it used to be... well that doesn't mean its the Klitschko's fault, I give then props for just trying to do their best to dominate the division they fight in there era, beat everyone who is put in front of them and whether people think they are boring or not... it is still in descent fashion cause they are KO/TKOing all of there opponents.
People just need to lay off of them a little bit...
the klits always use politics to their advantage and always negotiate to their own advantage, not saying its a bad thing just saying they are not exactly ideal to negotiate with for their oponents. wlad was only willing to fight brewster a second time when he was coming of a loss, a career threatning injury and a long layoff all at once. they tried to screw haye on the money, they tried to screw gomez by making the ring smaller than the rules allow. the list goes on and on.
They try to exercise all advantages they have at the negotiating table. It's no different than any other top fighters. Floyd does it, Tyson, Leonard etc. did it. Boxing is also a business.
The Klitschkos are dominant champions who are very active for todays standards. Who else apart from Haye has complained at being treated badly? Answer: None. Who has pulled out of two fights whining about the contracts offered etc etc? Answer: Only Haye.
Conclusion: The Klitschkos are dominant champions who give their opponents career high paydays. Haye is the disgrace.
