in talking Bhop, RJJ, and Toney.
there resume's in a nutshell (going by biggest names):
RJJ
Toney
Bhop
Ruiz
^^while roy doesnt have many HUGE wins, he beat the 2 guys who i am compareing, which says alot, there are other names, but these are the best wins.
Toney
Nunn
McCallum
Jirov
Holyfield
While McCallum was slightly past it, he was FAR from shot, and whil holyfield was in his late 30's, considering toney was a former MW, he knocked out the former champ, very hard to do.
Bhop
Trinidad
De La Hoya
Tarver
Winky
Pavlik
While trinidad was a former WW, he still had a MW belt, and was undefeated, and oscar is oscar lol.
i know there are other names that are good wins on there resumes, but i decided to stick to the HUGE wins. there are good wins like:
RJJ: Virgil Hill
Bhop: Glen Johnson
Toney: Reggie Johnson
but lets stick to the big wins, who had the better resume???
There are a lot of underrated names on Jones' resume. Reggie Johnson, who didn't have a HOF career but was a notch below. Fought Toney to a controversial split and beat Steve Collins as mentioned in another thread. I really like Toney's resume but from the Jones defeat until 2003 he did very, very little.
I do agree Jones resume is underrated. I was going to say Reggie Johnson myself. He isthe best out of those names to me also. I think the robbery that Toney recieved against Griffin hurts him a little.
Jones beat Jorge Fernando Castro who had 70-3-2 in his 18th fight. Castro kayoed John David Jackson who people give Hop credit for beating. It's justsomething that's underrated on Jones resume, imo

There's something tragically false in this statement.
obviously he has big wins, but not lot of HUGE memorable wins, know what i mean, you guys dont need to cretik every little thing i write, jus pick who you think, then explain.

Toss up between Roy and Bernard...prime for prime Roy would beat Bernard though
Better resume I might give and edge to Bernard but that could be cuz I'm a fan...
If Bernard beats Dawson he surpasses Roy IMO...
