Pavlik vs. Williams. Time to come clean!

I have a feeling that this fight will be ugly for some reason. I can't figure out why, but when I try to put them together in my head I get a mess of a sloppy, dirty fight. I like Williams on workrate, but that might be wishful thinking. I've really started to not like Pavlik. He seems pretty white trash. Rumors keep coming out of Youngstown about his behavior, he signed a contract to fight Mora and then bailed on it (probably for everyone's benefit, but he did sign), and he randomly started badmouthing the Showtime tournament in the media for absolutely no reason. Plus, Jack Loew is such an arrogant prick and a shitty trainer that he brings down Pavlik by assocation. Shame, I used to love Pavlik going into the fights with Miranda and Taylor. Yeah. Pavlik has not done himself any favours outside the ring lately. I'm not sure I agree with your ugly fight assumption. I think pwill will be surprised at the power in Pavlik's shots and I expect him to fold before 10 TBH. This could be a classic or a classic chess match that folds when Marquez becomes frustrated and goes out like Gatti!!! Either way a clear UD for Mayweather against an overmatched opponent!!:wow: :wtf:

Thats exactly how I see it, Williams has 2 unorthodox of a style for Kelly Pavlik. PWill moves 2 much for Pavlik in my opinion and he definately throws a hell of alot more punches than Winky Wright. PWill punished Winky and many ring side observers thought Wink did enough to win.

Pavlik looked like shit aginst a slow powerless mexican bum....... Williams is beating his ass...up and down the ring. Too many punches fom too many angles...too much speed........hes going to ba all over kell;ys ass.... For once i agree with you Burner. Pavlik looked terrible! against Rubio imo. well p.Williams took the punches from the Plaster boy so i guess he got a good chin and pavlik is gassing out after the 6-7th round so I would go for P Williams although he aint a exciting boxer, but I would say Williams by late KO

For some reason I think Williams by knockout, I am not strong in my conviction though and have not truly considered all the angles. It won't be like the B-Hop fight at all though. I think it will be an action packed fight really with the winner commming by knockout either way.

People forget what Pavlik did against Taylor and Taylor has much better defense than Williams. Williams defense is his offense and Pavlik shines against offensive fighters. Pavlik will TKO Williams in the 6th.
