ummm... that wasn't in his last 3 fights, buddy. either way you view those fights, pacman has obviously been able to reinvigorate his career, and he's now one of the biggest draws in the sport. cotto is still getting back on track. i wasn't impressed in that clottey fight, especially since i thought he lost, but here he is, about to make the most money he's ever made, and he's complaining about not wanting to defend his belt 2 POUNDS below the limit. just bow out then, and go fight somebody else.... let mosley make your money. he ain't complaining. I'm curious, not saying you hate Cotto. But as a boxing fan how can you NOT be impressed with a boxer being cut that bad against a top 5 welterweight who has given many good fighter problems and taking it the distance? Even i'm impressed with what Pacman has done. Not impressed?

Cotto fighting for Legacy and for the P4P title Pac fighting for History ... 7th belt in a different weight class ... Why not give them what they want. True, you know we're killing cotto and pacquiao and they are still in negotiations. I think the fans, including myself are jumping to conclusions and nothing has been set. Soon we'll find out if belt will be on the line and at what weight. I hope for both fighters it's at 147 and for title. That way Pacquiao gets to fight Cotto at his best for a chance at title. Agree?

No, I mean let manny go for the belt but if cotto wins the belt just toss it to the side and appreciate the win more. There are many fighters out there through history who have had belts that don't mean anything. I think it means more to win the fight than being screwed by WBO. I'm not a boxer as some posters think they are so i don't know if 1, 2 or 3 lbs make a difference in a boxers fight performance. No doubt about manny being the new Oscar but the thing is you and everyone else knows that he's not now nor will he ever be close to the level of Oscar.
