It seems that the Panamanian Celestino Caballero required classes on negotiation processes in boxing.
that is how Orlando Piñero reacted, Puerto Rican manager of Juan 'Manuel' Lopez, who Caballero promised to "break the mouth" in case and so far distant combat.
"This is a desperate athlete looking for attention. Businesses are not done that way, "said Piñero to El Nuevo Dia" All fighters have a team and it is assumed that those who do business for the fighter is your manager and promoter, "he added.
Caballero, JR Featherweight of the World Boxing Association (WBA) and the International Boxing Federation (IBF) has mounted a campaign full of insults and threats against Lopez, but none of their representatives, as Piñero, it has been reported with the company Top Rank to make a formal proposal.
The Panamanian, by contrast, has an agenda in the coming battle incumbent August 29 against the Mexican Francisco Leal in the Aztec city of Mexicali, according to Agencia EFE, and the Puerto Rican with a unbeaten record of 26-0 with 22 nocauts, put at stake his crown JR Featherweight of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) on October 10 in New York, presumably to the African Rogers Mtagwa.
"With 'Juanma' (Caballero) can not get a good coupling. What you can do is good business, as if they do want to. Call first Mr Bob Arum (Top Rank CEO), "stressed Piñero. "Boxing is not child's play is a business," he added.
However, he acknowledged that it would accept "happy of life" Caballero of the idea of doing battle on the island "If that occurs, you must be a good fight, and here in Puerto Rico would be a good business, good for tasty ' Juanma "Lopez."

u will see.... juanma is gonna blast him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :boxing:
The funny thing is Caballero never even called Arum or Juanma t eams. aAl he is doing is talking to the papers but talking to the people he should. No wonder the fight is not signend.
Co-sign 100% True...
probably, but they also as soon as he puts a offer on the table they will acept.
And I guess is fairly right what they said in this article. How Caballero wants a fight if his team doesnt even offer one.
I already told you any idiot can call anybody out, specially when they have nothing to lose. Talk is cheap.
Caballero should send a offer to Team Lopez because he is the one calling out Lopez.
Im disapointed of Juanma not because Caballero called him out, but because this is the fight to be made, period.
Yea, it's hard to blame Lopez. Arum has tunnel vision to Lopez/Gamboa, and he's not gonna let anything get in the way of that.
I don't necessarily think Lopez is being a bitch, I think he just knows he's in a better position financially, both in the present, and in the future than Caballero, so he doesn't need the fight like Caballero does.
It still just sucks that the fights not gonna happen when it should. What sucks is that I think Lopez would fukkin starch Cab no problem anyway.
I can call hopkins a pussy all day long and say that ill bitch slap him next time i see him does that mean the fight will happen,HELL NO,Boxing contracts are done by promoters and not by boxers ,I was one of the Ricans giving Juanma shit for ducking Caballero but now he deserves some credit
More ducking? Did u read the article they are welcoming an offer and they will accept it in PR,Finally we hear a response that makes sense from team Lopez
no they ain't, they're doing the same "talk to my promoter" BS they've been doing all along, they'll probably tell him they still want a 1million for the fight
more ducking by Juanma
More ducking? Did u read the article they are welcoming an offer and they will accept it in PR,Finally we hear a response that makes sense from team Lopez
In Spanish.
