Well, i really can't believe that so many people here start calling him a quitter, a cry baby and a lot of disrespectful names.
The fact is that Nate Campbell is right about the cut being made by a headbutt.
Now, the fight was still too early imo to think he was looking for any excuse to quit the fight. He was losing, i agree, but it wasn't a in a way that made me believe he wanted to quit or that he felt helpless on the ring.
Now all this comes to the point if people here believes that Nate couldn't see properly. I believe him, and if you can't see very well and start seeing spots, you hav tobe a ****ing idiot to continue fighting, and being a warrior has npothing to do with it.
Also people judge the cut on how it looks...maybe it didn't look that bad, but that doesn't mean anything on how critical the cut was.
It sucks the fight ended like this, and i still think that Bradley would have win in the end...he was looking very good tonight, but don't start calling Fighters quitters and all those names. Some of them you can say it's true, but Campbell, or Cotto or DLH have always showed that they are true warriors and you judge them for one fight, and on the 3 fights i don't think they were quitters. They did their best and continuing was pointless or too risky.
To be honest i've been havin a laff with it today and Witter but im a pure
joka so i can be excused...
But you know peeps are gonna claim he quit and he did you can butter it much as you want and he still quit though...
I didn't watch the fight.
Did he quit or did the ref stop it?
He begged for the fight to be stopped before his corner had a chance to even work the cut, and before the doctor even had a chance to look at it.
He was almost screaming at his corner, "stop the fight, stop the fight". He almost jumped out of the stool saying it. Then the doctor comes over and he says he sees spots.
Vasquez fought valiantly through his busted nose for nothing. He still ended up with a loss. Vasquez also went on to blast out Marquez when he didn't have a handicap.
This reminds me of the first fight between Vazquez and MArquez.
People calling Vazquez a quitter ... i mean Israel Vazquez a quitter because he didn't continue because he couldn't breathe well.
Completely different. Vasquez fought like 3 rounds with a visibly out of alignment nose, and spent lots of time in the corner figuring out whether anything could be done before deciding to quit. Campbell gave up the round and looked to end the fight for the no contest the second the headbutt happened.

nate was claiming he was seeing spots in his left eye so the doctor stopped it.
i don't think nate's a quitter but he should have known full well that the doctor wouldn't let him continue if he made his claim. if he wanted to continue he would have lied like every other boxer who gets asked "are you ok?" nate was looking for an excuse to stop. he wasn't complaining that it was stopped, he was complaining about how it was ruled.

he was butted and it caused a cut but the way it played out looked like he was trying to take the easy way out. i say looked because we dont know what his vision truly was but he didnt even give his corner a chance to clean the cut before he started to say he couldnt see and also it looked as if he was about to take a beating
