If JMM beats mayweather who will you have as P4P number one?

I was in the few who had Marquez as P4P number one after he broke down and KOed Juan Diaz, but the 2 round demolition of Hatton prompted me to label Pacquiao as the P4P leader, but only by a hair. However if JMM beats mayweather by any means there is no doubt in my mind that JMM would deserve the top spot. Yes, but only until Pac beats Cotto, lol. I don't know about you guys but these couple fights have me torn, i would love to see a Money vs Pac fight, and that's what i think will happen IMO, but i really want Money and Cotto to win so we can get JMM vs Pac 3, and have Floyd finally fight a real, true and tested WW, stop the catchweight nonsense

marquez arguably won both those fights with paq, so with that in mind if he beats mayweather he is # 1 p4p no question.

without losing a single round? watch the fight again, Manny was never in trouble during the fight. JMM never puts away his opponents like that and DDiaz wouldve been successfuly in exchanging flurries with JMM. TKO, maybe, but DDiaz wouldve been capable of winning some rounds. He would indeed beat Diaz's ass in the same way Pacquiao did ; a TKO within 9 rounds. Floyd and Williams are my 2 favorites.....But Paul beats his ass if it ever happened. Williams has the physical advantages, i wouldn't bet against Floyd though, he's so skilled and versatile Williams would definitely be the favourite though

And what does getting hobbled have to do with anything? It shows the vulnerability of a boxer. JMM made the fights more exciting when he came back in his fights, but Manny won much more convincingly. When was the last time Manny buckled, not in his recent fights against bigger fighters. Marquez is a strong counter puncher and would not have attacked teh same as Manny did to ODLH. Manny was sneaking in punches between ODLH's gaurd and rolling out as he does. That isnt Marquez' style, as he wouldve just waited ODLH to come to him and defend with counter punches. Too Simple To be the man you have to beat the man, and the man right now is Manny Pacquiao, so if Manny wins he is the man and if Cotto beats Pacquiao he is the man, Doesn't matter what happens in the Floyd fight because neither are #1 right now. What is the issue? None point blank and simple.

It would depend on the Pacquiao-Cotto fight. If Pac lost, Marquez is no question P4P 1. If JMM beats Floyd impressively and Pac wins controversially, he can possibly be number 1. Otherwise Pac stays until a hopeful third fight. And enough about the Diaz and Casamoyer fights, yes they were impressive but does anyone not believe Manny would have done the same? Especially against a pressure fighter that's easy to hit like Juan Diaz. No doubt Manny could handle Casamayor and Diaz. But don't you think by the same token, that Marquez could handle David Diaz, Ricky and a weightdrained De La Hoya?
