Ignacio has gotta be the #1 P4P of all time when it comes to trainers.
That guy's record of producing Champions is sick.
i think hes too critical in the corner though, his training is A* his corner work is B. and i agree with the Manny Steward comment, he does ruin some fighters (naseem, taylor) and do good with guys a lot taller than others in their division (Hearns, Lewis)...suprised paul williams didn't go wit him
if you look at pure statistics, you got to say nacho is the best. he got like 16 world champions most of them little to no amateur background, who hes trained from scratch. a lot steward and roachs fighters are already accomplished before they go with him bar a few.

He has made a few fighters, but more often then not he ruins fighters by having them change their styles up. He only does good wit fighters that are much taller than most in their divisions.
I agree with that.
Like I said : when it comes to insight, wisdom, and intelligence (not to mention being a calmer cornerman), Richardson aces Manny all day every day.

ok then. i respect your opinion :cool2:
I also think he's a bit overrated myself, and consider Richardson to be better than him.
But he's produced more world Champions than Richardson has, so I can see people ranking him higher based on that alone.
Richardson's true time has yet to come though ; he's only just now getting the credit he deserves for his insight, knowledge, and ability to come up with a perfect gameplan for any situation.
Years down the line I expect him to been even greater.

no idea bro.. naseem is definitely one of the best trainers around. hes in the level or roach, nacho, stewart :cool2:

Naazim reminds me of a wise old sage, I swear.
Everytime I see him I just want to pick his brain about boxing and life in general ; dude just has that look about him.
yeah man, every fighter who works with him pull out a great peformance. John David Jackson another trainer whos real good, shit...Bernard's got a dream team.

Coming from a dude with a .gif of Charlie Zelenoff in his signature ; I find this extremely hilarious. :lol1:
don't doubt the power of the 750lb HOOK homie!
i think it's the other way around. mosley know what nazim can do for him
True enough. Naazim is the truth and Mosley has nobody else to turn to to train him unless he wants to go with some idiot like Buddy McGirt or something.
thanks man, judging by your pics i take it you from Philly, can you keep your eyes and ears out for me about where his gym is? i dont mind if he doesn't train me, just would like to pick stuff up from him what he does in the gym, a lot of training techniques he uses are unorthadox, and ill just workout and spar at the gym etc. Philly for me has always been number 1 place in the States.
I am from Philly, born and raised. But I don't live there anymore, so I can't help you with the gym front.
Richardson has a full stable of Amateurs though so I'm not sure he's looking for anybody else at this time.
Is Joe Frazier's gym still on the auction block, or not?
You could try training there if that stuff has been settled like I think it has.
Apparently he trains amateurs as well (someone on this site told me I can't remember who) .Since neither Mosley or B-Hop have upcoming fights and they both stay in shape between fights Richardson might have an open gym.
nah idk man, dont think he does amateurs. i kno he used to for Rock Allen, but thats like his son aint it?
I imagine it's in Philly.
But he's got a pretty full book, my man.
He trains his sons and nephews as well as being fully committed to Hopkins, and he's probably going to stick with Mosley as well.
