no one said jmm can't dare to be great.
i'll root for jmm plus hopefully he'll get paid a lot of money.
the fight is still a mismatch though. hopefully floyd's rust will be enough and jmm can be competitive. i doubt it.
Like I said before JMM cost me a lot of money making me think one way after the Casamayor fight. This is JMM's best shot to really cash in and do something great (beyond what he has already done). I am giving him the benefit of the doubt, even though everything tells me Floyd should pummel him.
JMM is a great fighter and you can never count out a great fighter.
I don't have a problem with either fight though~.
see that's an explanation i can understand.
one that has merit.
pbf-jmm is closer in size than cotto-pac.
Shouldn't have to argue points that should be known to any boxing fan, just more proof of your ignorence~.
Also saying /end thread to your own point is like saying you owned someone or laughing at your own jokes, all fall under the category of very pathetic~.
actually i'm gonna stop.
don't give a shit about cotto anyway.
140 champ vs. 147 champ at 145 is not the same thing as 135 champ vs. a 147 guy at 144 (maybe 147)
end thread.
The 147 guys are not the same size
Floyd - JMM are closer in size than Pac - Cotto

Yea the best at 135 vs 147 is a more historical matchup that has happeaned many more times in the past. Floyd is not the champ anyways, so why does it matter who he fights he is not really defending a belt from any class~.
Also why can't JMM dare to be great?
Look if Pacman fought a live body or atleast a skilled world class fighter in any of those fights maybe I would listen to your point. It remains that none of the guys he fought at 135 140 or 147 were all that live (Oscar) or all that skilled (Hatton and Diaz).
If guys let you do what you want, it really doesn't matter the size difference. If the guys really put up a fight you might have a point but none of them did so the questions remain the same.
No it is not Manny's fault that none of the guys were up to snuff, but can not really put to much stock in those wins in deciding how he is at those classes.
?
you have bad reading comprehension , dude.
even with jmm i said i wasn't looking at the quality of the win as much as how he looked carrying the weight.
same case i was making for pac. how he looked carrying the weight not the quality of the win.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Continue to make excuses, it is cute~
it's not the wins.
they were 2 great wins.
i'm talking about how he carried the weight.
juan diaz would never have been able to that good against the jmm at 126-130 imo.
though it could just be age catching up with him. who knows?
What a funny responce given how you responed to what I said~
How many times do you idiots need to hear this.pac's last fight was at 140 not 135 and cotto already fought top ww.what else do you need to hear?this is coming from a floyd fan,but damn let's be real stop dikriding the guy
lmao
rose colored glasses?
did i even say anything about the quality of those wins?
pacquiao has fought at 140 and 147. fact.
marquez has not. fact.
now fuck off.
Hahaha, but he hasn't really been tested so what do those fights really mean in the grand scheme of things~. Next to nothing~, good wins sure but going forward they really don't mean much on how fights will play out~.
i don't give a shit what you think about david diaz.
the fact is david diaz was a 135 fighter and pacquiao beat him.
pacquiao also beat hatton at 140 and delahoya at 147.
whether they weren't good wins to you or not is irrelevant.
pacquiao fought at those weights and looked good fighting at that weight.
denegrate the wins if you want but it doesn't change the fact that he can carry the weight in those divisions.
you're wrong on this issue and you need to just go away.
If you want to look at those wins through rose colored glasses go ahead.
If you think the things that I stated are irrelevent you should probably just go hang out on the Dora the Explorer message board because talking boxing is obviously not your cup of tea.
I was not even denegrating those wins just keeping it real, which you obviously do not. Dominating wins in boxing usually mean next to nothing when a fighter actually get challenged, so all those fights are meaningless to me. Some of them are good wins Hatton win for the belt at 140 is pretty good, beating Oscar is what it is and David Diaz well he shouldn't even be mentioned with the other two who they themseves are not really top class.
Man up and quit crying like some pathetic broad~.
it doesn't matter if he has been tested.
he fought a top 4 lightweight and the top guy at super lightweight.
whether he was in a tough fight or not is irrelevant.
we saw how he moved and punched at 147 and he carried the weight well.
marquez doesn't look right at 135. he won but wasn't the same as he was at 130.
Of course he's not going to look great at 135, He was fighting two of the best lightweights out there and he still manage to KO both..
there's a difference between a 140 champ and a 147 champ fighting at a catchweight and a 135 champ and a former 147 champ fighting at the same catchweight (if it is a catchweight. they're still not sure if pbf-jmm is at 144 or 147)
pac (140 champ)-cotto (147 champ) = pac-hatton
jmm (135 champ)-mayweather (former 147 champ) = pac-delahoya
Excuses, excuses excuses~

Pacquiao isn't a legit 140 champ though. Do ya really class the IBO as a "proper belt"?

If you want to think like that go ahead.
I do kind of agree about Marquez, but I lost a shit load of money on the JMM-Diaz fight based on thinking like that, so getting fooled like that once makes me leery about looking at it the same way again.
David Diaz was a nobody a never was, worse then Arturo Gatti and Carlos Baldomir so don't try to talk him up to me.
There are reasons I think the way I do, I hate loosing money and if i looked at boxing the way you do I would be living in a box by now~. Being actually tested at certain levels is always relevent, saying it doesn't mean anything is ignorence at its finest.
Pacquiao fought already at 147, JMM has not fought above 135 in wich he is small anyways.
If you cant understand that, well you are a straight up moron!!!!
And i bet you were one of the many saying Pac is too small for De La Hoya in that fight as well. Face it, that fight gave Pacquiao more of an advantage than it did Oscar as he was clearly underweight/dehydrated. I love it when Pachuggers try claiming that proves his greatness. Ridiculous

Fighting a dead man with rigamortis at 147 pounds is not really what I would call being tested at the weight. Just some food for thought~. He has yet to be tested at all above 130 pounds, it really is not Manny's fault that none of these guys were really able to test his mettle but the fact remains that he has not really been tested above 130 pounds.
