Now that we finally have confirmation on Pac vs Cotto and Floyd vs JMM looming in the next couple months, which of the 2 fights does everyone see being the more successful as far as being lucrative, memorable, and competitive?
I for one believe Pac vs Cotto is going to be a much more successful event. Now, what I find interesting is how Floyd will be able to continuously claim he's the draw if it does end up where Pac vs Cotto sells through the roof.
You gotta think this will hurt his ego heavily.

Why has this thread received so many replies.
when its the biggest boxer in the sport which is Floyd. they started the whole 24/7 with floyd.
what dont you idiots understand about this being a tune up fight?
yeah, obviously the biggest boxer in the sport in which no one gives a shit about what fight he's in. Look at the poll. biggest boxer my ass.
They dont invest millions of promoting a fight for a tuneup. Since Mayweather believes himself as a god, he said he doesnt need tuneups.
At the same time, werent floyd fans saying JMM should be ranked higher P4P over Manny, but needs a tuneup first before fighting Manny? which is it genius'??
look at the poll....so much for the biggest boxer of the sport......
its more like floyd the biggest bullshitter of the sport
2 votes for floyd including you......lol
:haha::haha::haha:
Cotto vs. Pac is definitely the bigger event. No one is fooled by Floyd saying the fight with JMM is for the #1 P4P fight, he's fighting a lightweight. It's also a fight between two defensive fighters who like to counter punch, and has very little chance of being as exciting as Paquiao vs. Cotto.
Cotto-Pac features the current no. 1 P4P fighter in the world, arguably the best welterweight in the world, and has a great chance of being an epic fight.
I stopped reading and started laughing after that line......
Not a big fight? Even Floyd himself is "claiming" that he is fighting the p4p #1 fighter! So fighting the "supposed p4p" king is a tuneup? C'mon Floyd Huggers....you can't defend that.....
LOL precisely
Like I've said, If Floyd didn't go on National TV and blame a fighter not bringing in enough money to fight him I wouldn't even be posting this.
But consider the possibility of Pac vs Cotto exceeding Floyd vs JMM in sales because believe me...THAT is what Floyd and GBP are about. How would he even have pull to demand a 60/40 or 70/30 against the winner of that fight?

Even HBO is claiming this fight is for the #1 pfp spot. People saying its a "tune up" are apologists.
What welterweights WORTH throwing on HBO PPV...........
July 18th which was the date before he got hurt.......
What ww's were availible that day?????...Ill help you there was one.
Collazo....HBO AINT PUTTING HIM ON PPV.....especially fresh off a lost to a prospect.
Thx.
Im sure there was someone at 154 or 140 burner. Reach in your "Floyd excuse" grab bag for that one.
You are a little shortsighted so I'll help you out. floyd could have announced the fight much earlier than he did and there would have been more WW's that would have been free for that date for a PPV, instead he waits until the day before Manny's fight. He knew he was coming back months earlier.
Just because they're doing press tours in europe doesn't make it a big fight..
It's a TUNEUP fight.
Cotto is not one of the two best fighters in the world...stop it.:lol1:
Tony walked that bitch down like a pimp stalking a fleeing hooker...and Clottey hit him AT WILL...hardly one of the two best fighters in the world.

what the **** does it matter...floyd is going to tear cotto and pac's asses up when he fights them....who cares about floyd's drawing power? in that ring, he will dust both pac and cotto, whoever wants it first...that you take to the bank...
Floyd isnt some bull dozer crushing machine.
BOth Cotto and pac give PBF his toughest fight ever.
He wouldve faced Cotto if he had no doubts
Yawn.......
Floyd is back now and has a fight September 19th.......
Floyd also went through Hatton and Oscar........and the guy Floyd is about to fight Manny scarped by aginst..They all fight the smae people.
Floyd will fight the winner.
Lets stop crying.......
We got the return of Mayweather......and then we have Haye-Vitali.....then the SMW Tourney...then we have Pac-Cotto....Jesus calm down.
Lets wait to see what happens after Nov. 14th.
When they ask Floyd whats next after he KO's JMM........Hes going to mention Mosley.....Cotto and Pac.
And then he won't fight mosley.
This thread is fukking stupid.......
You dont think Floyd knows he would make more if his opponent was Pac or Cotto.
This is a dumb thread...especially when Floyd will face the winner.
Actually, what's stupid is Floyd fighting a LW on his first fight back at WW.
