If Pac Beats Cotto......does the Marg victory look more legit??

Margarito is getting back his license pretty soon that proves that his innocent of any wrongdoing. Why did he get it taken away in the 1st place if he didn't get caught cheating? And just getting his licence back does not prove his innocence....good God. What a contradiction.

But dude, look at the difference. margarito broke ribs, ocular cavity and other things plus bloodied the hell out of Cotto's face, Clottey scored blood with a head butt. margarito is accused (I wish I could name sources, so take that at face value or judge for yourself) of being merely a busy arm puncher. I am no boxing guru but when Cotto hits I see sweat fly. When margarito punches it really does not look like he's hitting all that hard. Anyone remember the 'Calslappy' pejorative? Even Roy suggested that Calzaghe hit harder than it looked like he was hitting but...Roy only suffered a busted eyelid, not ribs and ocular cavity. I dunno. Call it as you see it, but I will to. Maybe he did not cheat, but until it is proven otherwise...well, you know.

Stupid question/thread. Marg's victory is already legit. Only crybabies still whine about it. Everyone else has moved on. How can it be stupid bro? I for one think Margs beat that ass fairly unless proven wrong. Other people however won't agree with me.

I really don't think marg used plaster in the cotto fight.The pressure style marg has was just the right style to beat cotto.Clottey would have beaten cotto if he didn't give away the last round and was a more busier fighter.

IMHO Workrate beat Cotto in that fight, nothing else, I still believe that if Margs gloves were loaded in that fight then Cotto should be dead.

It would give margacheato's 'victory' a stronger claim of legitimacy, but that would depend on how Pacquiao's performance. If Pacquiao beats him as mercilessly as margacheato did, then I would have to reverse a lot of my former rhetoric. I don't know that the douche (margacheato) cheated against Cotto, but I am willing to bet my life that he did (yes, if I could bet my life and lose it if proven wrong, I would). So, as stated before: It makes margacheato's 'victory' appear more legitimate but it would not, on its own, legitimize it in my view since the taint of cheating hovering about margs is so strong that it would require proof to aquit him rather than asking for proof to convict him in Cotto's case. The arguments that support the case of his cheating are so much stronger than those that claim he didn't.

What kind of question is that? You make it look like marg's reputation depends on pac. Marg was caught cheating and it will forever taint his legacy and no amount of cotto beating can save him.

If a 165 pound Cotto loses to a featherweight, then he should retire and go into isolation.

We'll never know what really happened that night. So its not even worth going there man. By dissing Cotto and Hyping Marg, your actually doing a dis service to Manny when he fights Cotto. If Manny beats Cotto, what does that say about Manny's victory? that he chose the weaker of the ww champs!

Just curious on the opinions from other fans. No, they are nothing alike, Pacquiao is supremely more skilled than Margarito. Besides, the world already knows that he is a cheater, nothing can chance that image now.
