Khans got a glassy chin and I'm wondering how he took some of them shots that Kotelnik threw, notably between round 7 and round 10 where he got banged on the jaw with force on a numerous amount of times. Usually he would have been down after 1 of them but he took them all night.
Also, nice to see a fighter LISTENING to his corner at every opportunity, hatton should take note. Roach had the perfect game plan and Khan executed it, making sure his hands were kept up. It's hard to really form a judgement on Khan as you would have had to see him from his previous fights to see how different he actually is and how much he has changed, maturing from a boy to a man.
Finally, I think Khan could be Roach's next 'big thing'. Pacman is retiring in 2/3 years to go into politics and Khan could well take the mantle of being Freddie's 'son'. I think Freddie himself is very optimistic about Khan and sees him as potentially the next best thing.
Wonder if Khan would take a prescott rematch?
He said he wanted to..
Prescott is coming off a defeat should get it on...i dont think it would be a wise move for Khan to fighjt Prescott again...anyhow Frank warren wouldnt let that fight happen !
It doesn't matter if there's not much power, fact is Khan got his square on many occassions and took it, regardless whether the opponent had amazing power. He had power, and Khan took it.
Fair play. I didn't expect it.

Kotelnik is more of a defensive boxer. His power punch is no match to others in the same or lower division.
Kotelnik is not a big puncher, all though i hoped Khan would get KO'd it was never likely to happen. Roach might be a genius, but even he can't turn a glass jaw into a rock:rofl::rofl::rofl:
Kotelnik looks like my pizza delivery guy, hard working fight who can take a punch, but does not have power to be anything more than a good fighter.
you really dont like amir basing my thoughts on your replies :)
Kotelnik is nearly on par with Malignaggi in terms of his power. Khan will get KTFO hen he faces someone with a bit of pop again. The only mild threat to Khan that has been put in place was Prescott and that was one of the most dangerously career threatening KOs of the last decade.
Nah his chin held up well..But Kot was proper feather fisted type stuff
i only fear for Khan when he takes on another puncher but im sure roach is working on the dudes defense....
