he did want a rematch...he's a fighter..blame his management(nonfighters)
this is true, Khan has belief and thinks he can beat him. The 'nonfighters' are the smart ones though, because Prescott would kill him again.
Why would he give a title shot to a guy who just got shut out on FNF,Khan should fight someone like Holt he would gain a lot of respect with a win over a slugger like Holt.
Khan needs to stay away from Holt or he'd get KTFO.
You've got it backwards. Rematches are only deserved in really close, competitive fights, in robberies, or years later when paths just happen to cross again. Khan wasn't remotely competitive. It would have been a bitch move to try to go after a rematch. Why would Prescott give him one? Money, of course, but Khan wouldn't have deserved it.
Now, in two nights, the tables have reverse. Khan has a belt and Prescott is no where near deserving of a title shot. Funny how it works.
Prescott flailed his arms and windmilled his way to a loss.
Didn't stop one of the most brutal, highlight reel KOs of the last decade though in his previous fight!
"I'm sure Prescott might be on the shortlist because we made a mistake in that fight which we won't make again,"
LMFAO. Khan would NEVER get into the ring with Prescott again. Do you know what TRUE CHAMPS DO WHEN THEY GET SPARKED OUT?

It's been like 10 months, Khan has won a world title since he got KO'd by Prescott. What has Prescott done?
Khan will go after Prescott now.
"I'm sure Prescott might be on the shortlist because we made a mistake in that fight which we won't make again,"
That's hardly shouting for the rematch is it? Errr... Yer..... He... Um... might be on.... this imaginary list...... we have made..... um.... yer....

I'm pretty sure he did ask for a rematch. His management did the right thing, steered away from that direction and got him a title shot. Now Prescott is all but forgotten.
