The Most Overrated Prospect In Boxing?

I always thought Ricky Hatton was the most overrated boxer but he is no prospect.

Ortiz recently dumped himself into this category.

JCC Jr - *if he counts as a prospect* but I'd have to say berto (unless he doesn't count as a prospect either* So for me its angulo, although i do believe he was sick for the fight, i still think he probably wouldn't have won, although i was/still am rooting for him - That or possible that cuban kid, his name is excaping me at the moment, bad ass fighter but way to open and has been dropped a few times already (flash knockdowns though)

yeah a prime winky at 154 would destroy moore. do you think moore would beat cintron? That would be a more even fight imo. Cintron had his troubles with Jesse Feliciano, so it definitely concievable he could lose to Moore, however he seems to have changed his style a bit since then, he is not loading up with every punch, so i think id still roll with Cintron because he has competed with Champions and contenders on the World stage.

To be fair to Moore, Facey fights like Carlos Maussa's black step brother, so in a way i can see why he struggled a bit, but for my money he is just a solid good Euro level fighter that COULD win a World Title under the right circumstances but he is no Winky Wirght. yeah a prime winky at 154 would destroy moore. do you think moore would beat cintron?

totallt agree. have to get my hands on him and the facey fight. cant belive he was struggling with him. hope martinez fights him and beats him sooner rather than later. Pretty badly, and Facey whilst unorthodox and akward, he is well short of World Class. Well that is basically the same opinion i hold, but i did not wanna be too hard on Moore incase you were a fan. I think he is a Euro level fighter that has a window of opportunity, but only because of how poor the division is. havent seen moore/facey. how much was moore struggling? does martinez impress you? to be honest i think people are getting carried away with jamie moore due to him beating washed up EU fighters. i think martinez would give him a lesson or two about boxing. he has good skills no doubt but i dont find him entertaining and he doesnt do anything spectacular to get me excited cant see many great match-ups for him in his division either jacobs.for the same reasons he said^^^^^^^^^^

He will learn. Some boxer learn more from a loss than if they were continually knocking people out Homie...I hope you're right...I hope he can get it together because he's a good fighter but he needs to work on his heart a little.

he has good skills no doubt but i dont find him entertaining and he doesnt do anything spectacular to get me excited cant see many great match-ups for him in his division either Jacobs is a thinker in there he takes the opponent apart gradually, there is no flash because he thinks his way through what he is doing, which is something i love to see, especially in a young fighter. Guys like Joe Green,Ortiz,Khan,Gamboa are too aggressive and fight with their heart instead of their head. Did you see Jacobs last fight ? he looked the best he has looked imo. Jacobs will only extend himself if you extend him and him and i like that because he dictates the pace of the fight and controls distance.

i really think jacobs is something special..i cant really think of any prospects at the moment that are overrated that havent already been exposed
