Make or break fight for Jacobs, he should prevail through a decision, albeit a close one. Smith has a very negative style that nobody looks convincing against. Props to Jacobs for taking this fight.

I think Ishe has learnt from his past fights, I think he knows he has got to let his hands go more and be more aggressive. He's learnt that the judges don't care that he's got excellent defence. I like him to win this and think the 6 lbs more won't harm him either. this is true. he has to do more than just give a boxing lesson like he did on his 3 contraversial losses.

Excellent news; can't wait to see this fight. Very risky move by Jacobs' camp, since Ishe has a BHop style that is almost impossible to look good against. Danny should win because generally Ishe just isn't active enough to bank rounds, but chances are it will be an ugly fight for the young prospect.

this is kinda of short notice for smith. and Im guessing this fight is at 160 at the lowest, and ishe fights at 154, and jacobs has been fighting all mover the 160`s range. but you got to be willing to take these fights to make a better name for yourself. Smith's last fight was at 164 so he's ready. He was a big JMW.

jacobes is the man, he's been fighting once a month, or once every 3 weeks, the guy is the truth!

It is a big step up but if Jacobs wants to live up to the hype he should win.

Ishe is a major step up in class, but I think Jacobs is way too big for him. I look for Jacobs to win a one sided decision.

I like that match-up and I don't know why. Jacobs should beat Ishe if he is as good as advertised. Ishe made Joel Julio look ordinary. This will be a good test for Jacobs. I presume it is not televised. This fight is more intersting than Guerrero's fight against that South African no-namer.

Terrible decision by Jacobs and his people IMO. Smith has heart, is EXTREMELY tough and durable, and is slick and elusive. Jacobs will lose this one IMO, and if he wins he will almost certainly look terrible... as do all ishe smith opponents Agreed. all of smith`s losses are contraversial. and he is impossible to look good against. slick fast counter puncher, never seen him hurt. Glad to see he is getting fights he deserves. Ishe just has to keep a good pace and put in hard hours at the gym so his stamina is peaked.
