What motive would PBF have in virtually calling out Pacquiao?

Mayweather talks about pacman because everytime he gets interviewed pacmans name always gets bought up. And mayweather must be sick of hearing pacmans name, its the media that brings Pacmans name up not Mayweather. And Mayweather must be so despreate now to get these fight on so all of the media a the joe public can put this banta to rest. Its getting boring if you ask me. What has pacman done what Mayweather hasnt? You cant just knock the king of his crown

The reason why we are all talking about it right now. They needed attention and have to bring pac's name on the line. Getting pac's name every time they open their mouth == getting more buzz. Now they all do a group hug for strategy and they all talk about pacquiao all at the same time during conference.

It's another big payday, and definitely an easy payday! Floyd should be fighting fully fledged welterweights. Not an ex featherweight who has made a name for himself from his damaged goods. It is a win win situation for little Manny if you ask me, who'll just get more adulation no matter what happens because he took on all comers would you wanna fight someone for alot of money?

will the motive is to get free publicty look at how much attention he got and how many thread are made about this topic. I think he may be getting jealous of all the love for pacquiao. The exposure he is getting from all of sport, outside of boxing. Pacquiao has risen so quickly in the last couple of years, I think Mayweather wants the same kind of adulation he's been getting..

He might also be worried that Cotto will beat Pac, and therefore a Floyd Pac fight wont make as much as it would if Pac doesnt lose. Also if Cotto wins, Floyd might be forced to fight him (j/k, but im half serious too)!!! I concur.... That's the most plausible explanation as to why Floyd had a change of heart. If his fight with JMM bombs out at the gates and or the PPV sales, it will diminish his bargaining chip on the negotiating table if and when the time comes for him to make the Pacman fight. Both Floyd and Pacman could also lose too both JMM and Cotto, and it wouldn't make as much dollars if they fight right now, and if I were Floyd, I would rather deal with Pacquiao NOW than Cotto or Mosley, they are all equally dangerous fights for Floyd, but he would make the most coin with Manny, which is always the bottom line in prizefighting nowadays...
