Diaz will be more of a BULL than ever! He is still upset that he lost that fight to JMM, i know in his mind that he felt like he could have stopped JMM but he let that fight slip away. He will try to make Paulie trade and he knows that Paulie can't hurt him like JMM did. I think he pounds away at Paulie and he will just be too much in route to a mid to late round stoppage.

Hatton and Cotto - both bangers at 140 - couldn't manage it, so I don't think a natural 135'er in Diaz will pull it off either. (And no, I don't count a non-voluntary corner stoppage. They're two of my favorite fighters around right now. I think I agree with you. Not that Diaz is a huge puncher or Malignaggi has a weak chin, but pressure busts pipes.
