I received an infraction for my post about getting UFC/MMA out of boxingscene, a poll was included. I am sorry to those I offended with my quote..."I am sick of seeing UFC/MMA on our boxingscene website. I come here to read and talk about the sweet science, and I feel it is slowly being taken over by this stuff. UFC/MMA don't really recognize us as competition, I doubt these MMA websites cover much boxing, why should we recognize them. They look down on us and see boxing as a dying sport. And we embrace them. Vote and let me know if you agree or disagree with me. " I will try and do better in future posts, I did not mean to offend anyone, I was just stating my feelings and opinions on this subject. So again, my apologies, UFC/MMA helps keep boxingscene alive. Have a nice day all.
To be honest I don't like UFC, little by little I've come to like it but on the real, I wouldn't watch the PPV, even if it were Free. A sport that ups itself with blood, women and shitting on another sport (Boxing) isn't cool in my book. It may be very sucessful in the PPV buys but seriously, the fighter's medical bill cost more then they make.
Boxing shits on another sport (mma). What's the difference?
I watched one fight one time, and one dude broke the other dudes arm. The elbow bent completely backwards. I was like holy shit! wtf...A little extreme for me. Nothing like two guys throwing leather in my book:boxing:
Tap or Snap. That's why you tap out. There is nothing wrong with it but when you choose not to. Those things are bound to happen. The boxing equivalent would be Cotto not quitting. Imagine how much more damage could have been piled on. Health risking.

Punishments for infractions
In the United States, the key characteristic of an infraction is that the punishment seldom includes any amount of incarceration in a prison or jail or any other loss of civil rights – typically the only punishment is a fine, although sometimes other regulatory actions are possible (e.g. revocation of a license or permit) or an order to remedy or mitigate the situation. According to the USC title 18 Part II Chapter 227 the fine for an infraction is not to exceed $5000 (although normally less then $1000) and the maximum prison sentence is 5 days of incarceration, and common law puts the maximum incarceration at 6 months for local jurisdictions

All good, all I'm saying is, while MMA/ UFC advertises with blood, women and shitting on boxing, lets keep our cool, we shouldn't scoop down to they're level. As for the fans, I can't have anything against them because they have their own section, I kind of wen't a little hard on you, my fault. Seriously, my fault, all good homey.
