It's Haye vs. Vitali September 12 in Germany!

haye has a good chance against vitali. when's the last time vitali faced someone who's mobile and will actually move around the ring? peters just stood there and ate leather all night and gomez was pretty much the same, although he put up more of a fight. we know vitali still packs a punch and has some of his speed but we havent seen his mobility and/or footwork tested this will be interesting (plus, you have to take into account all of vitali's injuries, his age, etc. the man can grow old overnight at this point)

They should have Vitali-Haye and Wladimir-Povetkin on the same card on the same night, boxing is going to have to start doing some of these things else UFC will overtake it

This is great news, I can hardly wait until Sep 12! :boxing: Although July and August will be mediocre months for boxing, September is looking very good, with JMM-Floyd, Vitali-Haye, and Bute-Andrade so far. Wlad-Povetkin should be announced soon as well - the IBF says Wlad has until Sep 13 to fight Sasha. It's shaping up to be a good end to the boxing year!!

I would love to see this happen but I'll be nervous for Haye! Should be a great fight though!

i thought the same thing but i watched vitali vs gomez and was unimpressed. vitali was pawing with the jab, tired after 5 rounds and imo father time is catching up, he is due a loss and the hayemaker might just be the one to deliver it. bat's a credible poster but any chance of a link, i think the chances of this fight are pretty high. arreola has recently said that none of the champs want to fight him and vitali has been itching to shut haye up. finding an arena in september is going to be hard - the football is in full swing and football clubs are unlikely to compromise their playing surfaces. maybe if one of the clubs has a series of away matches its possible. Do they play soccer at night? Soccer :rofl: I SAID FOOTBALL SON yeah they do play football at night usually midweek games, but most home games are on a saturday, so theirs no way they can have a football match on the saturday and a boxing match in the same day.

Hard luck for Haye if true, he had a much better chance (being a puncher) against Wladimir.
