No its not., UFC is very popular, theres no shame in losing to them.
Boxing- a gentlemans sport dating back to the 1800's boasting legends such as John L Sullivan, Jack Johnson, Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Tyson, Lewis.... need i go on?
UFC- a haven for failed boxers and ex pro wrestlers dating back to the 90's.... 1990's boasting legends such as...... Joyce Gracie.... thats about it. Do you even remember him???
There is shame in losing to them, if you don't like that fact try WWE.com.
Golden boy won the pruse bid for Bute Andrade II. There's rumours it might be on the same PPV as Mayweather JMM. That'll help sales.
UFC have stacked cards so it wont really matter who's the headline or undercards on their event. Hard to tell until after UFC100 - it wont sell more than that.
Does anybody even know the undercard of UFC 103??!!!!! I'm not writing Marquez off yet! It'll be a sad day for our sport when UFC sells more than 2 of our biggest draws.....................

If Brock Lesner is headlining 103 then it will sell more, he is the biggest draw UFC has though and events with him headling do far better then with any other headliner.
What always kills me is that people act like UFC can build up stars when their top man is a former WWE superstar that WWE spent a huge ammount of money building up.

The rescheduling of Mayweather/Marquez to a date very close to Mexican Independence Day is a solid business marketing move, and should increase Pay-Per-View buys significantly. 24/7 will also help increase the buyrate.
I'm going with Mayweather/Marquez doing the better numbers.
But the UFC could put up a damn good fight if they stack their card like they have a habit of doing.
tbh i think ufc will pull this one out with easy, im not interested in seeing mayweather take on a lightweight. I wont be ordering this ppv and im sure alot of ppl wont either. Il be catchin it on streams on the internet!
Mayweather and Marquez are gonna have to do about less then 400,000 buys to not have more then this UFC PPV. That would be suprisingly weak.
