If he did forget his name, Oscar needs to step his promoting game up. Ha ha. Was watching that show "Golpe a Golpe" on ESPN Deportes, co-hosted by MAB, and he was answering viewer mail. They asked him about Alvarez and who would win if he squared off against Jr., so I guess some folks in Mexico are already calling for that fight. He kind of side-stepped a prediction, but kinda laughed, pointing out that Alvarez is still just a kid with a lot of promise... and that both prospects need time to develop before facing off in a major showdown. Yeah, that's what DLH said, didn't know his name but knew who he is so it's still good. Don't be surprised if the big companies start making offers to him if he keeps winning and doing it impressively. I'd give him a good chance at beating Chavez Jr. right now, he's shown more improvements in his fights than JCC Jr. has.

Yeah Oscar did mention him on fnf. Also people complaining about him fighting bums. Come on man he's 18. Better then fighting bums in the amt level with protection. He will get his experience this way. He has raw skill,moves well when he needs to, at first you look at him and doesn't fight like a mexican fighter but the more the fight goes on the more he does. I'm a big fan of the guy i hope he becomes a hero in mexico yeah, he's only 18 and made his debut back in late 05. hopefully they'll bring him along gradually and allow him to develop his talent rather than rushing him too soon.

That's a real rating dude, the fight was promoted alot by Televisa and was in canal 2. And the thing that helped it was that it was right after the Mexican National team soccer match. I believe that rating because it was right after the soccer match. Mexico lost in soccer but won in Box that night :boxing: and yeah it was helped by the futbol match but like i said, theres no official record(released publicly from a reliable source...so yeah that rating means nothing...) mexico didnt win or lose......some mexican cunts lost and a mexican won......... dude....the only recent fight that has charted on IBOPE's public ratings was in tv azteca(and it doesnt even say which)....it made 11.3 in the metropolitan area......not even national ratings were released...so yeah all ratings anyone mentions are probably fabricated......not even IBOPE is reliable...
