the fights Montreal always have a great atmosphere Andrade- Tsypko and Pascal -Diaconu were great but the fight between Bute-Andrade was amazing
yes indeed!
margarito/cotto was off the hook! I think shane vs margarito would have topped it, if it was margarito's night! but 21k fans didn't have much to cheer for.
Pac/Morales I was fuken crazy from what I could see and hear on tv
Tito/Vargas was crazy
best weigh in has to be vargas vs dlh or ricky vs floyd.
I have been very fortunate. The first fight I seen in Las Vegas it was a closed circuit event it was De La Hoya vs Trinidad. That was Electric
SInce I have watched live alot of fights and in my opinion they rank
De La Hoya vs Mayweather
Hamed vs Barrera
De La HOya vs Mosley
Pac vs JMM 2
Pac vs Morales 2
Cotto vs Margarito
Pac vs Morales 3
Pac vs Morales 1
Pac vs Barrera
Mayweather vs Baldomir
Barrera vs JMM
RJJ vs Gonzalez
Mayorga vs Forrest 1
Mayorga vs Forrest 2
Williams vs Quintana
Again from what I remember.
back to the Rahman/maskaev 1...I'll never forget the riot & Steve smoger hanging out ringside when all of a sudden a chair comes flying through the air & nails him in the back of the head...classic moments but kudos to smoger for bring a tough old ****er...he barely flinched.
Tyson/Holyfield 2 was good too...after the fight of course.after Rahman/maskaev 1 when Rahman got knocked through the ropes onto his head, followed by a riot.I miss those out of control aftermaths of the 90's.boxing sucks now compared to then.
golota/bowe 1...after the fight when the riot broke out.I couldn't believe hbo stayed on the air & it was so comical having jim lampley commentating...the cops are fighting with the crowd.
I think there were a number of fights that had that atmospheric buzz of electricity. Here are my picks:
1) Cotto/Margarito
2) Trinidad/Vargas
3) Pacman/DLH
4) DLH/Vargas
5) Tyson/Holyfield I and II
These were just basic picks that came to my mind briefly I know there are so may others that deserve honorable mention.
