If you made a poll, and asked people honestly who had a BETTER chance of winning, you'd see that Maidana would have won that poll. Everyone being honest with themselves, PROBABLY thought Ortiz pulls it out, but Maidana had the SLIGHTLY better shot. Why? Because he's a more dangerous fighter than a feather fisted, NOT TOO fast, NOT TOO slick, fouler who was there to be beat. He's had the better opposition, and some would call him STILL undefeated. Not to mention a KO ratio of 90 PLUS percent. I love Juan Manuel Lopez, I even rocked a Lopez sig for a while. But facts are facts. Lontchi was a stay busy, get some exposure fight for Lopez, while Maidana was a real test. He failed. It happens. Still, he fought the tougher opponent.

Victor Ortiz may not be anybody, but Lopez is showin me right now what its all about. The guy can do E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. He just made Lontchi quit in a very solid fight. He knocked him down with a one-two He is just so talented. He has good power, he is very intelligent, he is a great body puncher, he doesnt get hit to punch, he can fight very well on the inside, and is even better on the outside. He can fight going backwards or forwards. Lopez has a tremendous future. 2nd fighter in a row he made quit To early to tell. When he moves up and takes out Jorge Linares(unified Super Feather?) and Valero(Packy's successor), then I will agree.
