His resume of wins is very impressive and his overall resume of opponets faced is outstanding, Mosely has always willing took on the best around.
Mosley's Resume Of Wins
Philip Holiday (31-0)
Antonio Diaz
Jesse James Leija
Oscar De La Hoya x2
Fernando Vargas x2
Luis Collazo
Ricardo Mayorga
Antonio Margarito
Mosley has also beat pretty good contenders in Shannan Taylor(28-0), Jose Luis Cruz (33-0), Eduardo Bartolome Morales (26-0), John John Molina (45-4),
and pretty decent Wilfredo Rivera, who once gave Pernell Whitaker a compettive fight in 96.
he has been in with many very good fighters. Your thoughts?
Anyone who believes otherwise is literally a damn fool.
Oscar De La Hoya (2x) W
Fernando Vargas (2x) W
Winky Wright (2x) L
Vernon Forrest (2x) L
Miguel Cotto L
Antonio Margarito W
Luis Collazo W
just to name a few
Vernon Forrest and Winky Wright were also horrible style matchups for him seeing that he is a short fighter. They were just too ranjy for him.
I guess he should have done some damage control and not fought an immediate rematch against terrible style matchups for him.
Anyway, bad style matchup or not... one thing that elite fighters do is manage to make all their fights close, regardless of whether they win or lose, and how bad the style matchup is.
It is insane that someone who is regarded as highly as Shane Mosley was seriously ripped to shreds three times by two different fighters.
Mosely's never been Ko'd or quit and has a very impressive record he is the actual current & reigning WW champ and is now more avoided than any other fighter.
Except for that guy, Paul Williams, who wants to fight him and Mosley won't.
He's also gotten blown out for 3 of his losses.
How would everyone rate his best wins in order?
I think:
1. De La Hoya I
2. Margarito
are pretty much a given as 1 and 2 respectively.
Where would you rank wins like Vargas I, Vargas II, De La Hoya II, Holiday, etc.?

Not underrated. Probably the best resume of any active fighter. Mosley has always fought the best, I think everyone knows that.
