You got knocked down because of the lag. You weren't experiencing it but your opponenet was. He saw you without the guard up and thus your character was registed in the server with a flush hit.

I haven't played online, getting used to the total punch system, the damn A.I. is actually learning making them harder to beat, Ali beat the shit out of me 3 times, I am only good with Chavez, beaten everyone I have faced with him, how is the online game-play? o.o Someone elsewhere said it was laggy. My ONE match was perfect. Roy Jones Jr(me) vs Mike Tyson...I controlled the fight from the outside and was dominating...he caught me in round 4 and dropped me...literally outta nowhere. I made it up tho. Round 5-7 I believe I was dominating still. Cut Mike under his eye was up on the cards...and he caught me with a punch I blocked. Shit was retarded. You gotta pace yourself sometimes too cuz I was givin Gatti a boxing lesson wit Pernell and he caught me in Round 10 and I couldn't get up.

Was wondering if anyone bought the game yet? Looking to see if I can get some inside information regarding the game play and the Legacy mode.....Lefty I pre ordered the game at a Game Stop and they didnt have it today have to wait till tommorow morning.

1up just reviewed it and gave it an 'A', but I don't trust them. They consistently review high profile games before IGN and Gamespot and seem to give those games higher ratings than anyone else...like they're trying to stimulate demand for the game or something...
