The writer Brad Cooney is a close friend of Roach so I think this source is reliable.

Breaking News: Michael Moorer Fired by Freddie Roach
Brad Cooney
Hollywood, CA- Former heavyweight champion Michael Moorer has been fired by Freddie Roach due to a conflict of personalities that had been creating issues amongst the wild card stable.
8countnews.com has just been informed by Freddie Roach that Moorer was asked to leave his position as assistant trainer primarily due to tension between Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan.
Freddie went on to say, “ Amir Kahn approached me and said; Freddie I want you to be my trainer, not Michael Moorer”According to Roach, Pacquiao's sediments are the same concerning Moorer.
Additionally, 8CN was informed by Freddie Roach that he want's to make it clear that there were no hard feelings and thanks Michael for his contributions during his brief involvement with the Wild Card Gym.

This is not true,Moorer went to see his kids in Florida.I was listening to an interview from Roach yesterday and he denied the rumours.
I'm skeptical of the credibility of any article where sentiments is spelled "sediments".
Suprised because Freddie and Amir were giving him praise not so long ago. maybe it is manny and moorer who have had a falling out.
If the choice was between Moorer and Pacquiao it must have taken Roach about 1.5 seconds to decide.
it's strange but when moorer was heavyweight chsmpion he was never in shape half the time & was not always motivated.he seemed like he was going through the motions sometimes.after the tua fight he never fought any name boxers after that other then his fight with jirov.
Manny was terrified of Moorer.
He was like "Mr Freddy...whaaaat is that thing???...Is it human?....PLEASE don't leave me alone with it..."
lol, Moorer said the same thing when he saw Foreman
Roach should do what Nacho is doing, have one of his former fighters help him, Daniel Zaragoza does most of the padwork with Nacho's fighters, IMO James Toney would have been a good trainer.
poor double m.
it's too bad.
i think he would have made a good trainer. he's a smart dude and articulate enough.
He still can be a good trainer. I'll believe this story when I hear it from Steve Kim, who has the best connections at the Wild Card Gym.
anytime you charge people a dollar for leaning on a fukking counter...you need to go
That wasnt the worst part, it was that damn stupid grin he got after he got the buck. Like cmon man its a dollar calm down.

He came off has an arrogant prick on the Pacman/Hatton 24/7, He was suppose to be a guy who would be a calming influence but he was prancing around like he own the wildcard gym, Am not surprise that Khan and pac didnt want him there.
i saw this coming a mile away....i made a thread during the 24/7 saying it looked like moore was trying to take freddys job
I kinda had the same thought larry...
anytime you charge people a dollar for leaning on a fukking counter...you need to go
That made me laugh... but it was pretty pointless and stupid...
Moore has too strong a personality for an assistant trainer and he wants to teach what he knows so it makes sense that this would happen. Moore has a chance to be a very good trainer but he's gonna have to do it somewhere else making starting his own gym
anytime you charge people a dollar for leaning on a fukking counter...you need to go
Moorer will only charge counter-leaners if they have a skunky breath. If you got them tic-tacs on, you'll be fine.
