Chagaev has a GREAT chin.
Remember David Tua was KOed by Felix Savon? Chagaev went the distance with Savon three times, winning twice.
Chagaev has never been down as a pro either. Vladimir Virchis's punch was measured as the hardest in the heavyweight division, even harder than the Klitschkos (he KOed Robert Hawkins with a jab). But Chagaev didn't go down when Valdimir caught him flush several times.
so he's got a great chin,
you say he's a smart fighter,
im definatly watching it now.
It starts here in Vancouver at 2 pm, but in Eastern North America at 5 pm and England at 2100 hrs.
so 5pm,
thanx a ton bro
I'm feeling apprehensive about this fight. I've been confident for every Wlad fight after Peter.
Chagaev is a smart, adaptable boxer who finds a way to win. He's stronger and better than Sultan Ibragimov.
Sultan was dominated by Felix Savon in the amateurs, while Chagaev won two of three fights with the ATG Cuban.
sounds interesting,
imma watch it,
what time again?
he has a chance,he beat Valuev and the size diference was just incredible,Obviously Wlad is much better than Valuev but Chagaev has shown he can beat bigger guys
in your personal oppion,
will it be worth watching,
or is he a weak chined fighter who Wlad will KO in 3?
No, he's not really exciting, but he has elite boxing skills.
This guy Dwyer at gamblers advisory compared him to Bernard Hopkins:

Chagaev is a smart fighter.
does he really have a CHANCE against Wlad,
or is that just hype?
Compared to say Ray Aurtin, Sultan Ibragimov, Tony Thompson and Hasim Rahman he is more exciting then that lot. Is he overly exciting though not really.
