Popularity doesnt have jack shit to do with him being a HOfer!!!!!!!!!!!!
Popularity would help his claim. Ken Norton doesn't really have a HOF resume but he's known. Calderon has never headlined anything in the states. Add to the fact he's a litttle boring at times.
I'll admit I haven't seen a lot of Calderon. I just don't like the smaller divisions. My cut off is 122 unless you catch my eye like a Donaire or Darchinyan.
Anyway by looking at his resume and seeing a few of his fights, you can see the dominance. Someone has to represent the smaller classes. You can't just cut them off because of their size. And he's been one of the best ever at his weight.
Yes he his!!!!!!!!!!
he have fought lots of good fighters.
Finito Lopez didnt had a great resume either!!!!! But he sure could of beaten anybody!!!
Too bad people dont know shit about the lower weight classes!!!!!!!!!
thats the problem, people dont know shit about the lower weight classes!!!
Has Ivan Calderon done enough to warrant a spot in the IBHOF?
He has the potential to be... but he isn't quite yet, he probably will be in a few more years though...
Has Ivan Calderon done enough to warrant a spot in the IBHOF?
I don't think so, I hardly know the people he beat. He is one of the most underated fighters.
